Hello James & Helen. This was a very pleasant and scenic video to watch. I especially liked Villa thingy - more my kinda place. Quiet and serene and not like Benidorm on steroids. I was intrigued by the holiday flat and the splendid views and think perhaps the open stairs would be a challenge ( and I don’t drink ). Super, it makes you want to visit too. Well done folks. 💕💕👍👍👍

We’ve been to Altea on the bus from Benidorm lots of times and I’ve never been able to persuade my husband to go to the old town, after seeing what a great time you both had there he’s agreed to go in April when next there. Never knew it was called peacock island. When I was a kid and holidayed in Benidorm, way back in 70’s 🙈 if you look at the mountain range behind Benidorm there’s one mountain with a square chunk missing. We were told a giant kicked that chunk out into the sea and that’s where the island came from 🤷♂️
Hi James and Helen, Lovely to see you back in a place you both seem to love, altea looks like a lovely place. All your accommodation so far looks great 😊 Peacock island we went there in 80s, what a let down, 1 Peacock and 6 chickens 😮, the boat left so quick you didn't have chance to get back on, so an expensive cafe and a 2 hour wait 😢. I just loved that tour, you look so happy and at peace James. The view from your balcony of a morning was stunning. Altea is beautiful and quaint, my kinda place. Helen never broke breath climbing those stairs lol. Cant wait to see where you go next 😊

Great video. 👍 ive been meaning to go to Villajoyosa for ages, still never been there. Been to Benidorm around 10 or 12 times now. Was there for fiesta last Nov 2022 & 2021. 🎉 Love the old town. Been to Alrea a couple of times its a beautiful place and the walk to tge top is fantastic. Just love all the little cobbled streets and the beautiful cafe bars & restaurants. 🥃🍹🍺☕😂 Fab video guys. We stayed in Villajoyosa years ago at the Hotel Mediterranean, we loved it and went back a few months later. We preferred to just pop into Benidorm for the day. Great vlog again 👍
Stayed in the same area as you about 10 years ago our apartment was slightly bigger but had a roof terrace , we arrived at about 11pm driving around them little tiny streets trying to find the apartment what a nightmare that was , looks like nothing has changed in 10 years lovely and quiet in the day with beautiful beach , your vlog brings back great memories. Villajoyosa is one of our favourite places on the Costa Blanca as well as Altea and Calpe. If you get chance go and visit Guadalest in the mountains you will be be blown away with the views and try the menu del dia at the restaurant next to the car museum on the way back down. Great vlogs, me and the OH love your sense of humour.

Just for your next visit, the restaurant in Altea where you sat under the orange tree before leaving to go for pizza serves the best pizza I have ever tasted. I love strolling through small cities/towns and Altea looks like just the kind of place I'd like to be. And, once again you've found the perfect places to spend the night. Oh, and the pastries dipped in chocolate, I wanted to reach in there and get one. You two are having the perfect holiday get-away. I just finished season one of a Showtime series called, "Back to Life" and it's in Dover. And, she gets a job in a fish and chips place. Have you seen it? I keep thinking about your van and wondering what it's going to look like when it's done, hope you'll get to see it soon....in the mean time you and Helen enjoy your travels.

Absolutely stunning views, especially the sunrise 🌅 On a side note ..just whilst I remember …if you’re ever in or passing through TODMORDEN on the main road across from a bridge over the canal, there’s a shop called TOD ALMIGHTY who sell the best chocolate ever …MILLER BARS …all luxurious natural ingredients, about £2.79 each, they’re delicious x x x We travel from Rochdale over the tops to Tod (Morden) then through to Hebden and shop at Valley Organics and Goo Cheese in Hebden x x x Valley Organics have healthy delicious crisps too, friend in organic coconut oil and lightly salted in a healthy salt ..either sea salt or Himalayan 🤔 and you can go through Mytholmroyd and turn right by the church over the bridge and right again and go to Crag Vale, a lovely pub down there, or just keep going on the main road to the top and over the moors past the reservoir and turn right and you face Rochdale and Manchester in view from Blackstone Edge and the White House pub is there where everyone parks all down the moor roadside at New Year watching fireworks. Drive all the way down and turn left before the arched bridge and that takes you to Hollingworth Lake x x x that’s Rochdale’s beauty spot x x x theres loads of beautiful stunning walks all surrounding Rochdale too xx x x
