Me and my partner love Liverpool. We stayed in the Adelphi once and loved it. We had a massive room with hallway 4 poster bed lounge area. Did feel a bit spooky but that just added extra to the extra I would definitely stay there again. The lounge area is beautiful we sat on the leather sofa chilling and people watching whilst having a few drinks. And watching the football in the bar area. Just perfect. Plus every member of staff was lovely
I stayed at the Adelphi in December. It was an emergency booking made online at an hour's notice after a disaster with another accommodation I had booked and I arrived at 9.00 pm. My room was fine. It was clean and comfortable although the windows were very draughty. The breakfast was fine and it was cheap and in a great location as I was departing from Lime Street that morning. While it did not compare with the Leonardo where I had spent the previous night it was good value for money.
My parents met whilst both working at The Adelphi in the early 1960’s. Three decades later we visited Liverpool for a familyreunion and stayed at The Adelphi in a suite (with jacuzzi) on an upper floor for the weekend and it was lovely. However we used to go to a cafe around corner for breakfast as it was good value then. Nowadays if we visit family in Liverpool we prefer to stay at The Premier Inn at Albert Dock - lovely staff and great service. Great city with friendly people. 😊

Helens got the right coat on for hotel inspector lol 😊
I love watching your vids/blogs! Great fun, your relaxed presenting style is so enjoyable, and after watching loads of your vids, I just thought I’d say hello, and thanks! I always prefer the ones with Helibobs in as your more relaxed and bounce off each other humour. Well done!😊
Hi guys we stayed at adelphi in 2010, we left a bit of dirt on the floor to see if it would be hoovered during our stay and it wasn't 😂I was a room maid 16 yrs and I wouldn't have got away with it, loved Liverpool tho, massive beatles fan ❤
I saw the shots on the table and the word 'Yammas' just popped into my head, not a clue why... but of course, it's 'cheers', isn't it? It's been 20 years since I spent a summer working in Greece ... Loved the Greek dancing!
There should a cover on them Pillows, Love your Blogs Love Love Liverpool. See you soon, Janet Kelly.
Thank you Janet
Hotel reviews after a bottle of wine ,good food and a couple of Shots , perfect .....Keep up the good work and Thanks .
We've stayed at the Adelphi a few times, the price and location are great but the rooms are not. The worst we stopped in was a windowless basement room, that was scary.
In December we're going to try the Liner hotel for a change.
We love Liverpool, so much to do and see, the pubs are fantastic.

Just the two in this video - The Vines & The Philharmonic Dining Rooms
The hotel has a long history, Trigger the horse stayed there, as well as Charles Dickens and Winston Churchill.John Lennons Dad worked there. Free as a bird, the video was filmed in there.Such a shame, it was once a beauty, and the height of luxury.
Yeah Trigger left a whoopsie in reception....💩...it's still there...
Great Video ❤️👍Love the shower gel 👍Must admit it is a huge hotel must try it out 🥳🥳
I always stay in Travelodges on cheap deals. Mainly because I've never checked out in the morning and said "Well, that's not at all what I was expecting".
That bathroom is the same as what was newly installed in 1979 , I stayed there when they where new ,they also had thick light beige carpet on the floor !
