What a wealth of knowledge! We have been RV-ers for almost 20 years. We travel mostly close to home. A few hours away at the most, but we live in Texas and you know how big our big our state is. We go to the beach and stay at Pioneer RV Resort. And we go to the Hill Country and stay at Last Bird Johnson City RV Park. We have stayed at other camp grounds and we are always looking at new places to stay. We will drive to check out a few new campgrounds to see if we like it and can fit our rig in their spots. We're older and want to make sure we feel good about where we stay. Thanks for all your advice! Much appreciated.
Thanks so much. Sometimes our travels take us across multiple states, other time an hour or two down the road. It’s always great to get away in the RV.
Another great video and awesome Channel! We have learned, so much from 'ILoveRVLife' over the past few years! We have bought a few of the products per your recommendations, and ALL of them have been life safers! Do you have any recommendations on camper covers to protect an RV from the hot Georgia sun?
This is all very helpful info! In regards to making and keeping reservations, I've been researching campgrounds online for future travels......every place I find there is nothing available.....I've adjusted weeks but the camps seem to be fully booked for 2024.......is it better to call and book? It's getting extremely frustrating.......Thanks for sharing all your tips!
We’re booking a year in advance for the same reason you’re experiencing. The popular campgrounds fill up fast, especially the weekends. One option we consider if there’s an area we want to visit, finding a campground further down the road and plan full day trips for our tours. Stick with it, and be willing to work through a number of options. Appreciate you watching.
Jerry We have watched you since 2018/19, we even went to the Ocean Grove RV Resort because you showed some really nice videos on the resort. Unfortunately our visit there wasn't nice at all, office personnel was rude and not helpful at all. We had a slideout cable break and had to get a mobile tech in to replace it and they refused him entry and tried to tell me that because he didn't have liability insurance papers with him that he wasn't allowed entry. The owner finally came in the office in the middle of this discussion and said he could come in. We swore that we would never go back to this resort.
So sorry to hear this. I was told the family sold the campground late last year and are under new ownership. We haven’t stayed there since the transfer. I don’t blame you. I would have been very upset if this happened to us.
I've been watching you for so long that most of these I have already instituted thanks to you. You taught me well! However, thank you for the reminder it's always good to get a refresher. I didn't know about Garmin InReach, so I need to look into that. Safe travels to you and Joanie!
Thank you Jerry! As always, your video was awesome and very informative. My husband and I plan to do many of things you suggested. We are doing most now but some we need to start doing. Thank you again for all you do to help your fellow RVer's.
When trailer sway occurs it's never a good idea to speed up. The best course of action is to use your brake controller to slow the trailer until sway is under control.
we love you Jerry, but i have too..folks being pulling 40ft and longer rvs..purchase ice makers, gas cookers, home fridgerators, drills, tools, but yet skimp on putting two gallons of water in the holding tank. just insane, most rvers need to go to the SCALES.
Wife and I must be kind of different. We've been RVing for almost 20 years, have had 6 different trailers and have never used anything other then the mattress that came with the camper. We sleep great. Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan
Good morning Jerry I’m planning a trip next year to the keys in October I have a big truck a 43 ft toy hauler looking for recommendations on a camp ground
Once again Mr. Jerry hit the top of good advice. Thanks for taking the time.
Thanks Ken.
All good things to think about. Thank you!😊
Thanks

Thanks Johnny
Great video Jerry. We do some version of everything you said.
Thanks

Thanks so much. Unfortunately, we don’t use a cover. We always on the move and the 5th isn’t at home enough to benefit from a cover.
@@iLoveRVlife Thanks for the reply! Keep on enjoying RV Life and keep making more awesome videos!

Good information that can be very helpful, have you ever used a electric jack to fix a flat and if so what brand and what do you think
Thanks. I haven’t used an electric jack. We use a 4 ton bottle jack. Not expensive and does a great picking up the wheel on this heavy the 5th wheel.

Great information, thanks for sharing your knowledge. Enjoy your trip and stay safe.
Thanks Cyndi
Great advice, as usual. Thanks for what you do. Hoping Mark and I run into you and Joan in future travels.
Thanks. The RV makes the world a smaller space. Hope our paths cross.

You are what I call “long winded.” 😂
Thanks for watching and sticking with the video.

Wish I could help, but the Keys haven’t been added to our travel list yet.
Hey Jerry Neal, do you know if any company makes self cleaning toilet paper? If you do let me know please!
That would be interesting. I’ll be on the lookout.
