Joshua is the younger man by 5 years, the better boxer, and just as big. We are trying to understand that if he’s making the money he’s making, why not make the fight. Wilder has the only other credible title of any heavyweight. His legacy will have a big question mark if he doesn’t face the two other undefeated fighters with a claim to the heavyweight crown in Fury and Wilder. I don’t care how many times he defends his titles at this point. I want to see him cement his legacy against these guys while in the prime of his career. This kind of behavior is why so many pundits will never consider Mayweather the greatest of all time. It’s not about having an 0 at the end of your record, otherwise Marciano would have been favored over Ali, Foreman, Frasier, Tyson, Holyfield etc and he is not. I believe AJ will fight any of these men and knows he has to fight them but people should not have to dictate to him how he’s going to get there. I disagree with you on one aspect, that is when you stated AJ as being at his prime. In my opinion AJ is not at his prime yet. AJ is starting to come out of his shell, realising he has a great potential that requires a lot of hard work before it manifests. It would be dumb for him to risk something he has worked hard for because of ego. At the same time he knows inevitably he has to fight these guys. Joshua is the younger man by 5 years, the better boxer, and just as big. We are trying to understand that if he’s making the money he’s making, why not make the fight. Wilder has the only other credible title of any heavyweight. His legacy will have a big question mark if he doesn’t face the two other undefeated fighters with a claim to the heavyweight crown in Fury and Wilder. I don’t care how many times he defends his titles at this point. I want to see him cement his legacy against these guys while in the prime of his career. This kind of behavior is why so many pundits will never consider Mayweather the greatest of all time. It’s not about having an 0 at the end of your record, otherwise Marciano would have been favored over Ali, Foreman, Frasier, Tyson, Holyfield etc and he is not. I believe AJ will fight any of these men and knows he has to fight them but people should not have to dictate to him how he’s going to get there. I disagree with you on one aspect, that is when you stated AJ as being at his prime. In my opinion AJ is not at his prime yet. AJ is starting to come out of his shell, realising he has a great potential that requires a lot of hard work before it manifests.
