The Professor eats like a bird he needs a lady who likes to cook different ethnic foods he would enjoy food much better Alex is showing him the robe now 😍♥
The way you helped him get more comfortable through conversation was awesome! I thought he was going to be a bit reserved the whole time, great interview and soul food to match!
The way chef Alisa greeted latryguy vs the professor reminds me of the Obama "meet and greet" skit on Key & Peele. She kissed Alex on his cheek like he was her long lost grandson and shook the professor hand like he was about to audit her taxes. lol. Black people be unintentionally funny. lol
Congrats getting into so much better shape man. I remember you talking about it in some previous content I saw from you. Glad you still get to enjoy yourself!
The legend professor!!! I’m glad he mentioned and gave props to Duke Tango!!! He was that guy when it came to And1 events!!! OHHHH BABYY!!!!! Yall gotta find Hot Sauce aka Hot Sizzle next!!!

Wayy back in the day late 80’s and 90’s M&M soul food was one of our Best Soul food Places. Im born and raised in LA you still need to try Romona’s grew up eating there fast food mexican Food also Hawkins burgers in Watts best burgers around. Big facts! I moved to Atlanta in the late 90s, but I grew up eating at M&Ms and Aunt Kizzy’s front Porch. Too bomb! Way better than anything I’ve had in Georgia!!
@@kenyafromcali same here move to the Atl in 2006. Never had Aunt kizzy’s I remember the name and heard about it. Busy Bee’s soul food is the closest you can get in the Atl for good soul food
I started coming to LA in the 90’s. I had a CHP officer turn me on to M&M. Every trip I ate there several times. Moved to California in 2007, it no longer existed. I remember they opened a restaurant in Vegas too.
Hats off to THE LEGEND THE PROFESSOR!!! I got hella respect for you my g. I grew up watching you n the And 1 crew doing yall thing n wrecking ppl all over the place. I used to go to M&M’s. But now my favorite soul food in LA is Chef Marilyn’s. It’s a walkup spot with no seating, but it’s traditional soul food, flavorful, and consistent.
This "soul food" is nothing but a variety of food taken from different cultures. This is why everyone definition is the same when describing it. "It come from love. It's talent. It's good for the soul." Meaningless! If this "soul food" is so creative, why haven't other cultures adopted this style of cooking? Different cultures have adopted Mexican, Asian, and Italian cuisine. You can't stake you claim on meat, vegetables, and barbecue as a culture. This is from being jealous of others and having an identity crisis.
