This was great! I've been working on learning Gaea 2.0 myself. Hopefully I can put something together like this soon myself.

Thank you! I will be sharing more videos, GAEA 2 has a very simple & easy to use UI, and now some of their nodes have the erosion, and you can start creating really cool Terrains in a short amount of time.

Awesome stuff. But whenever I export terrain into unreal, when you are for example in third person walking and getting close to the let's say mountain area there are a lot of "jagged" edges. Even if the texture is awesome you can still see those unrealistic jaggines on the peaks etc...and then I have to you use smooth tool...but then it breaks those peaks which are needed to be "naturally sharp". Btw I saw a guy using zbrush to create mountains and slopes...and those look really natural even in unreal. Hopefully you can make some tuts about how to properly export and make stuff for unreal engine. Keep it comming :) Cheers!

It may be a resolution issues, but it is hard to say without seeing some screenshots. I also do use the smoothing option sometimes in UE5, but this can be time consuming assigning it to the entire Terrain. I'll be posting more detailed videos. Thanks!

Okay, so how do you export? I keep getting a Validation fail, something to do with Nodes not being Baked.

What maps are you trying to export? Did you hit F3 on each node you want to export? To keep comments short here, you can post your questions in my Forum here division369.mn.co/spaces/16324729/feed

@d369studios it's all good now, u managed to figure it out haha thanks. Though I'd asked how detailed should I make the height map, I'm currently developing an Archipelago for a game so working on each island separately.
