I think hes a terrific player. But they overrate this very good but not great performance. He scored a penalty and a deflected toe poke (Romario used to score them for fun). Barcelona lost this tie too. Eto was also better than him that season
You can see he's in alot of 1 on 1 situations where players aren't making space for themselves or he's getting double Teamed. Coaches of today wouldn't know how to use him properly, or they'd give him the free role.
