Glad to see you having a better day today. I could feel your frustration with blowing up the turbo and tuning issues. The best thing I can take away from your videos is that it’s never a failure, it’s always a learning experience. Two steps forward and one step back is normal in this hobby. Cheers to a better day and I am looking forward to learning with you going forward 🤙🏻
If your lens has filter threads, you can get cheap UV filters that are almost clear to act as a sacrificial shield. That works for more than just welding damage.
I use the same tool. Aside from cutting it with a chop saw you can use a scribe with a sharpie to mark the high side of your bead. It gives you a visual reference while you’re on your first pass. They should sell like hot cakes since I bought a bead roller specifically because I couldn’t find options for custom fits.
For the getting a comfortable angle, I personally haven’t tried it but I’ve seen Metigulous (youtuber) uses a rotational vice. Super simple and highly effective.

For sure. And the mustang build was basically problem free the whole time, so I have some punishment coming, lol.

Good idea, I know I was looking for a piece like that to buy. Keep it up.

Initially, the piece was sitting on the shop towel so the current was flowing though it??
