    I was looking for information on making zines for a little art project I am currently doing, and wasn't really considering professional printing, but I am now. This video was incredibly helpful and your enthusiasm for printing and zines is contagious. I wasn't even sure if I'd get through such a long video, but it was definitely worth it, this is super informative and made me super excited to actually make a zine at the end of my project.

      Thank you for such a great comment. We really enjoy making the videos and passing on our knowledge. Our number one goal is to help people take that little idea from their head onto paper, so if our guide achieves that then...job :) Best of luck with the project, we're here if you need us: hello@exwhyzed.co.uk

    It's a long and very informative video. Thank you. However, it would be helpful if there could be links to the start of each section in order to home in on specifics.

      Hi David, thanks for replying. We will add timestamps in the content to help viewers jump to the right section more easily - good idea!

    This is game changing. Recently over the past year I’ve been working on a photography zine and had been inspired to keep creating. But with the service I chose, I was limited to 240 pages max for the perfect bound format. With you guys, that wouldn’t have limited me. Now I’d love to know how it would come out with you.

    Thanks so much for putting this together. Hugely helpful and feeling less intimidated about the print side of getting my zine idea out there once I've got the content ready.

    The reason I like the stiched over the perfect binding is, that the stiched binding allows a much easier opening of the zine, especially if pictures go over two pages.

    • @exwhyzedprint
      @exwhyzedprint  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes Jan, very true. They both have their pros and cons but being able to open the pages completely flat is a great advantage of wire stitching (stapling)

    What I'm missing: zines in square or landscape-oriented format. No offense meant.

    • @exwhyzedprint
      @exwhyzedprint  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, good shout...for a square format you could go for 210x210mm, 148x148mm. They are both cost-effective sizes to print. However, we can go as large as 297x297mm for a really formidable zine or any bespoke size in between. Hope that helps, thanks for taking the time to comment.

    ...so cool.. your passion just oozes!! Wondering, do you handle barcodes/ISBNs..? Also, where can we sell photography zines these dayz in 2021 ??!

    • @exwhyzedprint
      @exwhyzedprint  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi T J, thanks. For the ISBN you should go directly to www.nielsenisbnstore.com/ who are the UK suppliers. On their site, you secure the ISBN, then download the barcode which can be added to your artwork. Still plenty of zine distros going, they all post regularly on social media or you can sell them on your own store, and not on the high street.
