Great pointing this out, but for the most part I didn't notice lol, something to keep in mind though!

Great explanation here and something I wish I knew in more detail when I printed my first book a year ago.
Thanks for taking the time to explain, this will definitely help with my next photobook project!

Yes, it's a tricky business B&W printing so we hoped this helped out.

Hi there. Please, is it possible to print a 2 page spread with on color image and one black & white image with this greyscale method you propose and still avoid a tint or you have to print both pages separately? Thank you

Hi. This may be a stupid question but if images are taken on a Leica Monochrome camera will this issue be completely eliminated? Thank you.

Great question Andrew! It seems like this camera is a unique and innovation in greyscale photography so it might well eliminate it. Seems to be able to produce digital work in jpg or tiff format. I can't find a definitive answer on google about whether the files are raw greyscale content (would be amazing if they were), so it would be a case of their tech dept or trying one, opening it in Photoshop and seeing if it opens as RGB or Greyscale. Fingers crossed though because it will be a great go-to method if it's reliable.

Thanks for the reply. Another question please! 🙏. I’ve received a quote from you for a photo book printed in only black and white which I assume is lower in cost than a colour book. My images are all black and white. Does that mean there is no risk of getting the blue hue in the printing process? Are the print machines only loaded with black ink? Thank you.

@@exwhyzedprint I believe your images will be converted to RGB when imported to Lightroom -- if that's what you use. I shoot on film and scan my pictures as greyscale. However, when I import them to Lightroom, they are converted to RGB. That's the limitation of Lightroom.
