Welcome back and thanks for the continuation of your travels and hope to view more in 2022.. Riverton is a sweet spot on that Burra- Broken Hill Track....Love it. A very proud little town and you have highlighted it so well. Very few know about the referred to as the first political assassination in Australia back in 1921..Think was a Russian involvement..but that is history. I'm an ole railway bloke, so them old stations stir me back to another time...Thanks heaps...Cheers.
Nice. There’s some beaut towns and a lot of history in the area. Tonight I’m in my caravan at Leasingham, just up the road. A tiny, quiet, grassy little caravan park that’s nice and cheap, with an awesome bakery/cafe next door.
Another GREAT video, Riverton looks good mite have to give it a try, love watching your videos thanks for the effort you put Into them, keep up the good work and stay safe Chris & Roz 😊👍
Thanks Mick. Must have just missed you as we were there for a week from Xmas day ....and I reckon we were on the same Lot 17 which offered shade from about 1pm daily. The weather looked good for your stay. We had that brief heat wave. Took the opportunity to fly my drone and take a bit of video and shots of the park. Also road my bike to Auburn and had the wife pick me up there after some shopping. Oh - I must add that mine is an EBike....but the battery shorted out about half way, so I had to do it the hard way from then on...but a very pleasant ride. Used that outdoors gym daily to work up a sweat and then head for the pool (free for park residents). Keep them coming as always informative.😀
Glad you liked it Max.Riding the bike the conventional way might not have been good on a hot day. We had perfect weather while we were there although the wind was bad at times.
Enjoyed the video, Thanks. What about recording your trip to Darwin again, I enjoy seeing the outback, it reminds me of my travels. I enjoyed your last video re the trip to Darwin. The more videos the better.. Have a great Trip..
At the moment another trip to Darwin wouldn't be much different to what you have already see. There are restrictions on when I can record regarding loading and unloading which makes it difficult to vary the content. always on the lookout for an opportunity to make another Darwin video, just need the right situation. I also need to be mindful that recording time eats into my fellow drivers time.
Hi Mick, been watching your channel for a while, I do some caravaning and like taking photos and I was curious what drone you use as I am interested in buying one, any info you can ass on would be good, thanks mate.
What a lovely spot. Just love STH Australia. The people are so friendly. A must see when we’re next on the mainland 💜

Glad you like it Dennis, if I was to go country to retire Riverton would tick all the boxes for me.
What a lovely town, looking forward to more videos, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Riverton seems to be one of those towns forgotten by city people. It is a lovely town. My grandmother was born there.
Not too many small country towns fail to impress during a visit. There is a lot of history to be preserved here at Riverton.
What a lovely little town. Like your drone footage. 👍
Thank you Chris, yes it is a lovely town.
Another great video Mick, thank you for sharing with us, look forward to the next one and have a safe trip up to Darwin and back
Thank you John, glad you like it.

I had a DJI Spark initially but have recently upgraded to a DJI Air 2. Anything DJI is good as they cater for most situations.
At last on TH-cam, someone who knows how to use a camera properly, particularly the panning shots.
Thanks Bob, a fast moving camera shows nothing more than a blur.
Nice and shady but those Gum Trees can drop some large limbs without warning.
So correct there Doug, gum trees can be killers.
