I love Tubi especially for horror. Most new horror films suck so I don't mind the older horror movie selections. It's like a online Blockbuster video store. And the ad breaks do not bother me. It's weird. Tubi knows when to place the ads to be the least distracting. Compared to other streaming services that will place an ad mis sentence. 😄
We did have Tubi in the UK fir years. Then some shenanigans happened around 2020 and it was removed for some reason. To be honest, I'm afraid to look at the horror section as all I'll see is a review watchlist I haven't completed! lol
Interesting! I wonder what happened to cause that? Probably some kind of copyright issue I’m sure. The horror section I feel like is the biggest amount of content they have so I understand what you’re saying haha.
@@CarnageReviews You mentioned that the platform was purchased by Fox. It could have simply been a distribution issue. That's been happening a lot over the last couple of years.
I have noticed on Tubi some movies have been censored with a blur effect or have been edited (mostly to take out the sexy scenes). I'm not sure if it's Tubi or the distributor doing this. It's probably the distributor saying, this is the free version if you want to see the whole thing your gunna have to pay for it!
@@splatombie really? Do you remember what movies? Cause some of the movies I’ve watched on there. Specifically from unearthed. Have been fully uncensored. There was one movie I watched called sacrifice. I saw a lot more than I wanted to see lol. That’s interesting and I honestly am not surprised companies might be doing this.
@@CarnageReviews One movie is 'The Bronx Executioner' which had a whole scene removed. As well as 'Witchcraft 10' had whole scenes removed. I'm not sure about the other sequels, but they are probably edited as well. The movie with the blur effect was 'Insecticidal' but when I went to check it the blur effect was gone, really weird.

@@GooniesGirl I am a fan of older horror as well.

@@TheHorrorificPodcast tubi needs to update their site then. It says it’s still available for you guys haha.
@@CarnageReviews Yes, it finally came back about a month and a half ago.

@@splatombie interesting I am thinking it’s gotta be the distribution company of the movie and not tubi. I might do a follow up video on this.
