Been there a couple of times. It's ashame all that talent got put out of their jobs and nowhere to go to continue their trade. I've owned 3 Cannondale bikes but after they sold out I got rid of my Scalpel and vowed never to buy another Cannondale.
How are the male mandrels/preforms removed from the inside of the cured part?

This was great. They look like they've really got their process dialled. Don't understand why they clear coat and then paint? Anyone know?
No idea maybe its a clear primer ? all carbon must have UV protection laquer ,whych is usualli sprayed at the end .
Amazing how the Chinese have perfected Mass production of Carbon Frames
"Perfected" is a strong word here :) They perfected putting out more and more frames but the frames themselves are not so perfect. Carbon frame building still is not automated and very much hands on and as with everything hand made you can't really get the same quality if you do something fast and in big numbers.
Really like the video. It has real depth compared to GCN's new stuffs.
Yes, because they make 10-11 mins at a factory, obviously you are not a GCN regular, if you're trying to insult me a comment like that. What I was saying, that this video had much more depth I think, they showed a little bit more than GCN does.
@@torma99 For GNC it's just about the click numbers for the them to collect the cash. I got to hand it to Allied for going into so much detail, I think it helps to sell bikes, it surely makes me want to buy one of their bikes.
