I usually sew along the weave of the fabric, so the stitches will be straight, and get used to it. But if you use the 2nd needle threading method which I showed in video #2, you can take it off when your stitching is out of the line :D
Hi ! My mother used to draw a line with tailor’s chalk with a ruler and I used to follow it , then you can brush it off lightly. It worked for me at the time, so I hope it will work for you too ! Happy sewing dear friend.🤗
Thank you both for the responses. I'll give both methods I try. I am trying to improve my hand sewing, right now my stiches look like they might be a little sleepy 😂.
@@MysteriousVampLover You are most welcome ! Another tip I remember from my mum was to always use a thimble in your middle finger and you push the needle with it ! You always get a straight stitch with that ! It takes a while to get used to but it really helps ! Try to find one that fits snugly so it won’t come off while you are sewing ! They are Cotton and Linen Fabric, and normal thread for sewing machine :D But you know, you can do it with any kind of fabric that not too thick you have :D
