Usually the thread gets tangled easily when you use the 1st way of needle threading (which I did in video #1), but with the 2nd way of needle threading (in video #2) it usually won't. Another way is that you can swipe the candle in just to make it more slippery :D

Hi, Din. I love the tape measure. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. When you're stitching the fabric closed, are you bringing your needle between the two threads as you go from one stitch to the next? And I thought it was really clever the way you added thread to the needle as you were about to run out. Is there a chance you can make a separate video up close to show how you do that? Thank you! ❤
You can sew it by hiding the thread, but stitching it through like this will make the tape measure more durable, although the back side will be a bit messy :D
Fabric measuring tape is for measuring things with curved surfaces, for example measuring body measurements to make clothes :D And I have a reason for making this video, but I really enjoyed it :D
