U don't need to soak it man. Trust me. Just throw in on the ground and it'll grow by itself. I don't know bout other places but here in southeast asia, we just left it there and it'll grow by itself

Yes ,true ,Here in India ,we just keep the good coconuts (with the whole husk covering on it )in damp soil with and in sunlight.
