Bought one and love it. The blue is stunning up front and ultegra di2 12 spd is phenomenal. The seat post is no issue for me as i got the shop to set me up on the bike and dont need to go near it. The wheels are very good too. It's a rocket on the flats and eats the hills. When out of the saddle on the hills, you can feel the bike point you upwards. The power you put in, transfers to the very back end of the bike and you can again, feel the energy getting you up the hill. Its hard to describe but its simply a stunning bike in every way. Do i need all the tech as a casual cyclist, no. Do i work hard for my money, yes. Therefore, it's nice to reward yourself with something like this as it makes me want to get out more despite the depressing Irish weather. Good review 👍
Nice video thank you, if you were unaware the reason Trek design the Emonda frame with a slide over seat mast, is to offer more compliance over a seat post that is inserted inside the frame which limits compliance, it also gives them better control over parts being fitted as it prevents people from fitting poorly made seat posts that are both slightly under size or oversize being forced inside the frame, and likewise an undersize seat post has internal movement causing fretting of the carbon, the seat mast idea is actually a very good idea from Trek!
The SLR 7 wait is currently more than a year out (440-ish days). I recently placed an order for the SL 7 (size 56), and the target date is April 2022, so only about 4-5 months.

Thanks for explanation. Personally, I don't like proprietary parts on a bike.
@@CyclingInsider That's one reason why I never liked the Émonda, or rather, Trek.
isnt the waiting list over a year??
1 year to wait on this overpriced heavy bike?
Supply chain issues
