I don't think it was that much of a deep meaning, it's just that with that outfit and whatnot, for a guy, wearing gloves like that just gives a more stylish outlook Unlike ladies with dresses, gloves or not are still nice With that drip for a guy, not wearing just makes it feel lacking, wearing it just makes it better

This song, is what triggered (metaphorically speaking) me into crying for Otto and his loss, when I first heard that song through the "Thus Spoke Apocalypse" cutscene. The first actual villain I ever cried over. While I may have cried over a fictional criminal in a completely different game prior to watching this scene with music for the first time, the guy wasn't a villain as he never took acts against the goodguys and willingly allowed himself to be arrested. (I'm not talking about Otto as this "criminal" I cried over prior to crying over Otto, just to clarify) No, Otto, he did many terrible things, all for the selfish desire to bring back Kallen from the dead, no matter how many people get hurt or killed for that goal. HE is no doubt a villain, a main antagonist for a long time even. Although it's not the same situation as with Otto and his grief, I can relate to having someone you care about so deeply, only for her life to be taken due to her fate. For me, that special someone I cared about had to die, to end the suffering she was feeling. I'd love to have her fully brought back from death, but I wouldn't take the measures Otto did for any chance to bring Kallen back. I'm not a selfish cruel person. The second villain I ever cried over, was Sirin. I cried after finishing reading Second Eruption. It's Otto's fault why Sirin became a villain. Also, just a side note, just because someone is a criminal in a fictional story, does not immediately make them a villain. It's when they harm the lives of innocents is the point a criminal in a story becomes a villain.
The one line of the lyrics alone makes it a masterpiece "Life is too long... To end in grave" This game's story is atrue masterpiece. Yes you can pic out inconsistencies where "what can the power do" here and there but the amount of outside game media (those 3 Visual Novels and 2nd Eruption manga) and everything is mostly tied up in a neat knot. Trully amazing expirience from "I've heard this mobile game is actually decent action game". It is really my favourite story as of now and I'm Planescape Torment boomer.
uhhhh, that's unironically how I watched that part of the concert, and I suppose someone in a chat also said that they trying not to look at a screen to not spoil the cinematic
Agree, after chapter 9 when himeko died I very hate otto very much even on survey I ask when Otto will died. but after he died i just missing great villain on the game. also he became my role model of villain that use brain in they action. because of that if in other game or anime that have smart villain, I always compare to otto. and most is not good as otto.😐

Yes it's in a game but imagine even a fictional character thinking so ahead of his time, like a human can only live for ~100yrs and he had what, maybe ~80yrs left and he dedicated everything to finding a solution, which was not enough so he transcended time, the very law of nature, continued to work for ~400yrs. I have utmost respect & at the same time think what one needs to do in order to be like him. He did sacrifice lot of people and things but that also shows how much he loved.
