- This episode, I review Ardbeg Uigeadail Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It’s a lovely Islay whisky bottled at 54.2% ABV that has a sherry cask finish. If you like peat and smoke, this is a fantastic dram to drink and enjoy. Uigeadail is one of my favorite whiskies and I try to always have a bottle in my cabinet.
The guitar sounds are from my Fender American Professional Strat with some backing chords I recorded on my RC-10R looper, which also provided the drum beats.
Whisky Riffs is a channel focused on reviewing whiskies while listening to guitar riffs.

Enjoyed that Kevin. You genuinely had me laughing / smiling at the jokes/quips. The pouring shot was gorgeous. Was slightly disappointed that the opening riff stopped so soon.
Wouldn’t have guessed that was filmed on an iPhone 11 Pro. The closes ups just cuts between the lenses?
Admittedly I can’t imagine sitting enjoying the smell of a drink for 10 minutes, I’m more likely to just neck it 🥴😳😏.

Really enjoyed this vid, thanks for making it. Have enjoyed islay whisky and ardberg for years, but learned a lot from this. Guitar playing complemented this nicely too. For future content I would like to see that beautiful prs paired with a fiery balcones 🤟🥃

Awesome video! I would love to see you do a video on Monkey Shoulder; as an everyday whisky I’ve found it to be unmatched. I do enjoy the Laphroaig 10 but my favourite has to be Hibiki.

Go deep on the Islay region - Smokey and peaty for a few episodes, please. It would be wonderful to learn about L10 (that got you started) and have a few examples from that “genre” to really learn what peat’s about.

My other passion than whisky are snakes. I only have 1 and it's a California kingsnake male. He's such a sweetheart. I know it's maybe weird to say about a snake but it's the truth. I have him since he was only 6weeks, and now he's 1year and almost 7months young. He lives in a big terrarium with UVB and lots off enrichment, so yeah he's well cared for.
Sorry for going very off topic here, but I just wanted to say something about my other passion. 😃

I agree, Uigeadail is also my favorite among the Ardbeg standard range and Ardbeg itself is one of my favorites among Islay. But I did not try yet Whiskies of all 8 (or 9) all Islay distilleries, so it may can change one day ;-) But due the fact I love heavy peat, I guess Ardbeg will be among the top! :D Again: nice riffs, fits to the whisky in deed!

I love Ardbeg An Oa and “accidentally” owned two bottles at once while growing my whisky collection. I think I still have a partial bottle left along with a Corryvreckan and a Kildalton. I need to double check. Cheers! 🥃👍🏻
