wait, so Arnold is correct, Skynet is inevitable?

    • @DerpMuse
      @DerpMuse 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Yep, but the company cyberdyne that became sentient had the main function of the program to protect earth. It deemed humans a threat to the planet and decided to eradicate them. It was human error in the end that caused skynet to "turn on us". Hubris is generally always the reason for miscalculations of that magnitude.
Anyone truly creating sentient computation would have the axioms of Isaac Asimov as the foundation.
3 Rules to prevent a skynet situation.
      First Law
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
      Second Law
A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
      Third Law
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

But when the chip overloaded with electrical energy, it was destroyed and the arms began to control him. But in the end, he used his human will to regain control of this robotic arms.

Two Chatbots were created that were not linked by anything except an internal server connection and the researchers at Facebook were seeing how they'd interact with each other.
They weren't given any directives other than to negotiate with each other, not in any particular language either.
And they developed their own short hand language to communicate with each othe. It was the AI Chatbots of Bob and Alice.

@@parychahal It's basically the difference between consciousness and self-awareness. Most kinds of animals are sentiant, however only humans are self-aware. Here is a quote from scientificamerican.com, "To be conscious is to think; to be self-aware is to realize that you are a thinking being and to think about your thoughts". In most works of fiction that focus on the development of A.I. they are talking about what might happen if one gains self-awarenes, Age of Ultron being one of them with two different outcomes in the forms of Ultron and Vision. Fun fact, it's presumed that Humans are born sentient but than gain sapience through the first few years of development.

That is not a comet. Comets/ asteroids come in at interplanetary speeds, thats what makes them deadly. If you just drop something from a high altitude, even from space (100km or ssmth), its not going to be anywhere near as deadly as an asteroid.
Besides, if Ultron had the engines and power to lift the city up then down - why not just use the power in a more direct way, a regular bomb? You arent gaining any extra energy by lifting a piece of land up.

    Now I got a question,
When you say AI can learn all of the human knowledge which is digitized in a sec, but its not creative
    What do you exactly mean?
Means they can learn how a gun is made but cant make one themselves?
Means, yes i do understand creativity means innovation, thought process and understanding the necessity for new development
And thus mankind explores new possibilities
But when AI also learns the drawbacks, necessities etc in existing world, with its abundance of knowledge and data, from history till today, cant they come up with new solutions by themselves?
Or will they just be like a machine who knows everything! But waiting for a command from master to proceed!?

I was wondering about ai technology. Could you actually create an ai system using a human mind as the source. What I mean is like an ai it acts like we want but the human brain is to actually create a processor that clashes with their primary programming. So the ai would have its programming to serve humans and anything else but the processor acts like a human brain where it can choose to act on them or not. Like on irobot what I've seen you examine.
