Thanks for the video and instructions. I wish the lighting would have been better in some scenes when filming into the helmet. Comparing the sound qualitiy to my Samsung Galaxy buds live (which I even used before inside the helmet for music an phone calls) this is pretty bad sound quality. Fidling a bit with the equalizer helps a bit. The whole situation with the battery placement and the need to remove it for charging is pretty ridiculous.
well great, i removed the inner lining and all the red clips are broken! if u look at 0:42 the person pulled them out, i was carefull but still 4 out of 6 broke off
Work at a dealership and straight up would not recommend this helmet, the cheek pads have a stud like holder to hold the pads to the helmet and that mechanism is very susceptible to braking during install...
I’m using this system and I’m very happy. But I am wondering if there is an easier way to charge the battery ? I have to disassemble the inlay each time I want to pull the battery out to charge it.
How big are the speakers? I have one from Amazon for 30€ but the speakers making my helmet much more tightly, to use without a mask it hurts my ears when i have the helmet on for a longer time. Now i was looking for the original and the speakers looking much bigger and the management and loading is really bad. I wanted to sent back the Amazon one and buy this but now, i will still use the amazon one xD
Will Exo Com fit an Exo 230 helmet please? The manual says it will, but your web site says it won't. I have tried Facebook and Instagram without a reply!
one of the red sockets broke with the first time taking out the inside of the helmet.. and yes the cables could be much easier to tuck away.. i guess its ok for the price but could of been much much better.. im a bit disappointed.
I've just installed intercom into my EXO-1400 EVO Carbon, and the noise level was completely ruined when not having the pads covering the speaker holes there. I ended up installing the pads again over the intercom, but as they have plastic sheets attached to them, the intercom volume isn't very good instead.. What would be your recommendation @scorpionsportseurope ?
@@pizzaschinken4374 The helmet in the video doesn't seem to have them. Other videos show these pads. They sit right over the speaker holes, with an additional pad filling the speaker hole, and a plastic sheet between the two. I found a solution to this eventually, I installed these pads on opposite sides so that only the pad covers the speakers. That mostly restored the noise level in the helmet.
@@Tiaan90 i think my helmet has them too, but i dont know what i am supposed to do with them. I have the Scorpion exo 1400 evo 2 Air carbon, and there are two speaker holes on each site too. They also have pads covering them, however only one side has the plastic thing which fills the hole. And im very confused because the pads are literally stitched to the speaker whole with a small seam. I think i had to cut it out if i want to install speakers
@@pizzaschinken4374 Ah, yeah that sounds like a similar pad to mine. The Evo 2 could be designed better, so you could try using the helmet without the pads after installing intercom. Otherwise you could try my solution of putting the pads in on opposite sides. That puts the speaker hole pads and plastic thingy above the speakers.
The sound quality is pretty good in regular traffic highway speeds is a different story the sound quality goes from good to okay lol phone calls are the same as if you had a boom mic the other person can't hear the wind noise
@@ryanrides3677 I'm confused by your question lol to use the voice recognition the button on the bottom of the controls you have to push twice to turn it on to use it but you have to have your phone set up for your voice recognition to answer calls while riding
the battery has a latch at the back of your head basically ... don't need to remove the liners to get the battery out you just need to tuck the usb cable a little
I love your products but I'm disappointed with this. Cable management is poor and the tiny pocket in the left cheekpad at 5:15 is useless. It's not clear where the connector from the speakers to the control unit is supposed to go so I ended up stuffing it into one of the chin strap holes because it digs into my head if I put it anywhere else, but I don't think that's where it's intended to go. What's worse is the unit detaches from the helmet just from me using it while riding, because the notch that latches it is insufficiently tiny. The battery also doesn't seat squarely into the battery holder, it always hangs at an angle. It's not the worst thing ever but it feels kind of cheap, and outside of those issues I have been very happy with it!
The video is kinda garbage on making sure it doesn't detach with a finger touch I found it easier to put it in with the top first then the bottom and it stays in place and doesn't move at all hope that helps

Not trying to hate, but your video sucks showing where, how much, placement of the wiring sticky tabs... You need more lighting, and show about how much wire your tucking back since it would be helpful to leave enought to pull the battery out to charge. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Since i work with electronics a lot, whats she was ment to say you can loop the cables to tuck them in but having hard folds in the wire can lead to cable damage
All this system really sucks! Every part is too hard to open, even the ubs cable connected to the battery it's crazy hard to remove! And the installation is totally madness. Never again!
First ride done with this helmet today. Positive surprise with the sound. Passform as good as one could expect. Old helmet is a EXO-1400.
The microphone is horrible, speakers are ok but I’m so disappointed with this intercom.
I have a £40 one from eBay which works better
Excellent video with clear easy to follow instructions. Made for an easy install. Thank you
I actually hate how hard it is to try to put the helmet back together after the wires are just everywhere because they won't tuck away.

Simply insert the snaps 😂 they seem to be rubbish compared to other helmets, i can seem to get them to snap into place, is there a tip please?

I bought two from Amazon and one arrived without the English quick start guide and no battery, is that an EU thing?
Here in Germany it is all in the packaging
Would this be compatible with exo-tech evo helmet?
Does the EXO COM fit the ADX-2?
Yes, it does.
