I got to ride both sides of Kid Flash on Saturday at Fiesta Texas. I'm glad I did, because it hasn't operated since, even with daily operations during Spring Break. They seem to be having a terrible time with that ride. I hope the problems can be solved, because it's such a fun ride. I don't want it also getting scrapped within a year.
@@huntzzio I missed out on that one on my December visit, as both parks had them closed then. Last week, the ones at Fiesta Texas were riding quite smooth, but there was kind of a grinding feeling & sound during the positive G moments. It didn't cause a vibration, but I could see it getting there if it were worse. I heard that SFOG had that vibration from opening day.
With the mention of Iron Rattler for Vekoma it got me wondering... I know they didn't build the tophat section and it is now a Frankenstein of a coaster, but what about TT2 with the new launch track and 420ft back spike for Zamperla? (Also, I'm so happy I got to ride Speed before they tore it down!)
The Sunkid Butterfly is another model with no ride ops. RCDB says there's 72 installations of it, mostly at public parks. you simply sit down, pull the restraint down, and press the button. looks interesting to say the least!
The smallest Dinn was Pegasus at Efteling. A Cyclone-clone wich operated from 1991 to 2009 and stood as 49,3 ft tall. This was replaced by George and the Dragon and was Dinn`s only installation outside of the USA.
I commented this and saw your comment right after. I’ve never been on Pegasus and, since I’m Dutch, I use the metric system, so I have to search up feet to meters and vice Verda. But I quickly realised 80ft would be too tall for Pegasus, since Joris en de Draak is approximately that tall.
One of these days I'll get to Prairie Playland during their operating season. So far three tries, three strikes. Two of those times I had great consolation prizes though - Six Flags over Texas on one and hitting Boardwalk Bullet on the other.
Interestingly, I'd say it shouldn't count, but I was just throwing it out there as an interesting question. Maybe it should be considered a collaboration? Idk, but if it doesn't make my cheek skin flap, I'm gonna be pissed lol
I’m able to comment on both of Skyline’s smallest coasters, cause I’ve ridden both. Brava was a complicated process to get on, but it was worth it. The ride isn’t anything crazy, but the entire exhibit is mesmerizing, and it’s definitely the rarest credit I have, and one of the rarest credits of all time, very grateful to have ridden it. I don’t have as nice of things to say about Kid Flash (Over Georgia) I rode it exactly a week after it opened back in November, and both sides are already shaky as hell. I was with another enthusiast that day and we were laughing about how this ride is not gonna last more than 5 years 😭
I think there’s also an 85meter junior coaster in tivoligardens in Copenhagen I don’t know for sure cause I rode it when I was 7 but it’s definitely similar.
Would love to see the conclusions as a list so that I could sort by park. I noticed Six Flags St. Louis got on here twice, I'm wondering what the count is for other parks with more than 1 tallest.
@@AirtimeThrills I believe so. They essentially changed the entire ride, including queue and station, except for the TTD top hat. The spike is theirs as well as the launch system.
Rollo coaster’s weight scale is a byproduct of the accident. Sad to see the new trains and the capacity nightmare it’s become but at least my kids still get to ride.

I would still say Zamperla’s biggest coaster is Top Thrill 2. I know they didn’t originally build it, but I’d say they’ve done enough to it now to make it their own
@@AirtimeThrills yeah, make a video on coasters that got renovated by a different manufacturer, that could be considered the new manufactures coaster based on the amount of changes they did to the original ride. For example, Phantoms Revenge. Definitely would make for an interesting video.

By biggest you could've been referring to track length. But I am surprised about one thing: How did you determined that the Mexican RMC was the smallest? Last time I checked the drop wasn't listed for many RMCs but I was certain Twisted Cyclone had the shortest drop stat. Maybe I oughta google it again; perhaps they've updated the info, but I digress. @@AirtimeThrills I just looked: Twisted Cyclone: Height: 100'. Drop: 96'. Medusa Steel Coaster: Height: 82'; Drop: 118'. You might just want to redo this.
Hey now.... I dont know if you can say Raging Wolf Bobs served "good seasons" at Geauga Lake. That thing was very neglected by Six Flags, and it got terribly rough. Just like the Villian did.
I have a bit of a problem with your term of biggest meaning a company's tallest. I think length needs to factor in with the total of the size of a roller coaster. Steel Vengeance is still RMC's biggest roller coaster. Even if it's not the tallest but with the length mix with the height, it's a monster.
