My favorite Fincher movie after, of course, some movie I'm not supposed to talk about. I love the style, the music, the story, the look. They've put so much effort in every detail that it'd be a shame if they don't reunite to do the sequels
best movie ever. watched it twice in cinema and bought the dvd. its so awesome. hoping the next movie will release that winter..... would be that awesome!
Fincher needs to do a straight up horror film already. So does Lynch...the avoid the genre like a rancid disease but they both know it's in their blood
Believe it or not, it was a horror film of the non-fictional variety. very convincing and acting so natural, it was terrifying. Who thought Stellan Scarsgard portraying a sick calculating virulent torture murderer.
While I agree that they have the skills to helm a horror film...I believe it's their personal preference of filmmaking that will ultimately bar them from doing so. They don't like conforming to genres, and I think that there is the main reason why we will never see a full on horror film from them.
I play this song when i concentrate trying to figure and fix things out about my life. Like right now sitting infront my PC just listening to this while i cross my hands trying to think.
+Poltercat in my case I feel really relaxed when the progression of the bass kicks in at 1:05 but I guess because every person feels the music in a very subjective way.
@choiceorchids: obviously you have neither seen the movie, where this piece fits perfectly and creates the whole atmosphere of the scene (which is after all what soundtrack is about), nor do you have any taste at all. I suggest you go and listen to Justin Bieber instead of spamming all the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo tracks with your inadequate comments.
OK, cool. I respect your opinion that Journey should have won and it had stunning music. So please respect other people's opinions, and the film in general. I feel the music fit in perfectly with the film. You feel it didn't. Respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. :)
Brotha, it's a 2 hour and a half movie, it's very interesting and the storyline makes you cling on to it. But you gotta' reward the viewer with something right?
Never read the book...1st time I saw it in theaters I was shocked...and well ya after the whole getting up and almost leaving... finished it.... glad I did. Ps fuck that guy
@tc102842135 It isn't if you've seen that person post stupid bullshit on all the other tracks as well. Seriously, why listen to them if you don't like it?
The same logic can be used for me. No matter how YOU personally viewed the music, a soundtrack capable of forcing people to drop their controllers and shut off the game just doesn't seem fit to beat out Trevor Reznor and Atticus Ross. It's all a matter of opinion. I restate my overall point: If Journey was better than Dragon Tattoo, it would've won the award.
Excuse me, but have you even seen this film? Have you seen the original film trilogy, or read the books? Who cares about a game with a robed figure in a scarf roaming around the desert? If Journey was better than Dragon Tattoo, it would've won the Grammy. Simple as that.
Jesus, you seem to be a very angered and conceited individual. I was looking through your channel and it seems it's in your nature to start provocative arguments using bad language. You also seem very adamant in your own beliefs. It's okay to have an opinion, but once you shove it down other people's thoats in a negative way, that crosses the line. And in your opinion, the music is what solely constitutes a good film/game? That's completely ridiculous.
I've watched the film from start to finish over 40 times. I still listen to the soundtrack weekly. And with regards to the title of the piece, I just want to point out that there is no such thing as someone that is mono polar, besides those that have lived a very sheltered life. The lie you are told is that those that are not protected under such an umbrella have some called "bipolar disorder" which is just that much easier to explain away than what the truth is, traumatic experiences leave a permanent mark on someone, and their emotional state will continue to resonate in a way that the sheltered see as socially inappropriate, so they crafted a way of publicly informing a half truth, a lie, repeated over, and over, and over again
This soundtrack is genius. I keep coming back to it.
Anytime it snows I throw on the soundtrack from this movie. Absolutely hypnotic.
My favourite song from the movie.
This track absolutely took my attention.
Great OST. Great movie.

And seems like it's a shame after all, it's not Fincher this time.
abhigna arigala Alien 3, I assume. Fincher himself disowned it.
It was so good tho!
This movie and soundtrack is epic
@@onthelam6316 i know its been 3 years, but he was referring to fight club.

the investigation scene when this track sounds is just amazing
i own the album but i like to hear it on youtube because i feel less lonely.
:( stay strong
@@plazmikpond He probably killed himself.
@@KaneK1234 damn why make it dark
Masterpiece. Like whole soundtrack
People talk about the movie being traumatizing. Imagine how Lisbeth felt. Don't forget what she fights for Don't forget

Silent Hill has David Fincher written all over it
Fincher did Se7en
chernebog07 that’s crime, not horror
So gonna watch the movie now, this track sold me on it
Sounds like I’m driving out into the ocean in a motorboat late at night to dispose of a body
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross really did a good job with the music and vibe...
The FBI would like to know your location 😉
Yeah I don't get that
@@ericcruz7068 Lol for me it feels like I'm solving a murder, not committing one.
i wish the piece was as bold in the film as it is a whole. it's superbly atmospheric

I saw it yesterday yeah i feel exactly like u
You are not alone.
What are you doing now? 12 years later
Did someone know a music like this one and "She Reminds me of you" ? Chill but dark atmosphere
love this stuff XLNT
Barbarian used a track very similar to this, called "Necro" by A001. Wouldn't be surprised if this was the temp track during editing.
poor cat
A day of searching, not finding.
this is scary

THE INVESTIGATION!
House: Everybody lies.
Working music...preferably on a computer
Did she know something someone wished she didn't.
thx
Its not a lie, if you believe it.
Sounds like a song from Mortiis. Were Trent and Atticus listening to the master of dark dungeon music for inspiration?
This reminds me of Zelda...

Sure I can. Me. And again, those are all opinions. If they were bad, they wouldn't have won.

I read the book first and I loved it, its one of my favorites. Fincher did an amazing job with this adaptation. It became one of my favorite filmms.

I'm pretty sure an amazing film would beat out a stupid video game.
@kittyjones93 Feel better? I agree, but.....really? That reaction is a tad bit over sensitive for three empty words....
