I swear, the very minute you start looking at tractors with just a little bit of interest, some strike you as what TRACTORS should look like.... 1255 and 1455 are just it! Damn....

Für mich gehört der Alte IHC mit 6 Zylindern zu den besten Schleppern seiner Zeit
as a kid my family went from ford 5000 and a ford 7000 to international 1255 and a 1455 it was like getting an space craft power comfort a heater and a radio a radio my dad kept saying why have you got that big grin on yer bloody face happy days

I am looking for an exhaust manifold and air intake piping and oil lines to convert a d358 ih German diesel to a turbo. There are non in the USA wondering where to look elsewhere. The 1255xl had a dt358 with the turbo setup. Any help appreciated!

Sehr gute Arbeit! Habe jetzt auch einen 1255xl in rot weiß. Was kostet es einen Schlepper so lackieren zu lassen ?
Ich lasse gerade meinen 1455XL komplett überarbeiten und lackieren und rechne mit 10.000€, ehrlich gerechnet. RAL3002 und 3003 50:50 gemischt.
Was für eine Ral Nummer habt ihr verwendet??

Unter Restaurieren verstehe ich aber mehr als Farbe über alte Farbe drüber zu sprühen. Alleine bei den koffergewichten zu erkennen.
neue Reifen fehlen.
Der wurde angeschliffen... Die Koffergewichte sind aus Guss, das ist normal dass die nicht glatt sind. Fangt erstmal selber sowas an, dann seht ihr das mal selber. Die Felgen wurden getauscht, die Reifen sind relativ fertig aber andernfalls hätte das wahrscheinlich hinten mit den kotflügeln gar nicht mehr gepasst. Außerdem kostet so eine bereifung neu insgesamt fast 10000 Euro

Ja ben ook wel benieuwd of lekkages eerst zijn opgelost, alles onder de cabine kun je niet bij.

Where was the restoration? This was just a paint job and some stickers/trim. not even a very thorough paint job lol, you just blasted everything red. We didn't get to see the interior or any actual rebuilding of the engine, hydraulics, electrical ?

Kun je met goed fatsoen natuurlijk geen restauratie noemen, blik verf eroverheen en klaar... beetje jammer zo.. blijft wel een pracht machine. Ps als er ergens geen muziek onder hoeft...
Sieht zwar gut aus aber qualitativ ist das nicht. Da wurde ja nichtmal der alte Lack abgemacht. Einfach stumpf bauernblind alles übergenebelt. Ich möchte mal sehen wie das nach einem Jahr unter der Haube aussieht. Wurde technisch überhaupt was gemacht ? Motor überholt ? Neue Dichtungen eingebaut ? Wie sieht's mit der Kabine aus ? Restaurieren heißt für mich einen Trecker komplett zerlegen, Teile instandsetzen, ggf. Neuteile einbauen und alles schön odnungsgemäß wieder zusammen zu setzen. Ein bisschen frische Farbe drüber nebeln kann jeder

Wenn er technisch noch einwandfrei funktioniert, dann lässt man ihn so. Man muss den alten Lack zwar nicht entfernen, aber anschleifen. Und das wurde hier glaube ich nicht gemacht.
Bauernblind beschreibt es ganz gut... Das ist keine Restauration was die gemacht haben!
Der ist ordentlich lackiert worden. Den Lack muss man ja nicht abschleifen, nur anschleifen und Rost entfernen. Dann grundieren und dann 3-4 Schichten vom Finalen Lack drauf. Wurde hier alles gemacht soweit ich gesehen habe

Wenn man sich schon die halbe Arbeit spart spritzt doch wenigstens an den blanken Stellen etwas Grundierung vor!
Der wurde grundiert in Rotbraun. Guck mal an den Stellen wo die Farbe trocken war, da hat man gesehen dass das matt war. Empfiehlt sich ja unter roten Lack rote grundierung zu Lacken. Zum anderen verstehe ich dein Problem nicht. Wo haben die sich die halbe Arbeit gespart? Der alte Lack muss nicht runter. Nur der Rost. Dann hält das

die farbe habt ihr gut hingekriegt die meisten machen den fehler und nehmen case oder die alte ihc rot der XL hatte das helle rot bis 85
ihc 1255 am besten ohne turbokupplung
Nur weil deiner keine hat oder was 😂 Mit tk ist viel geiler zu fahren und die fahrkupplung hält viel länger
