- You've probably practiced a lot how to answer questions, but what about how to ask questions? Instead of just talking about yourself, it's important to ask questions to the other person as well in conversation.
Here is a collection of 50 short questions that you can ask to anyone, both in formal and casual forms.Whether you're in a beginner or an advanced level in Japanese, let's practice how to ask questions to become a better listener!
*Please note: You may notice some differences between what you've learned in textbook and the phrases in this video (ex. using してる(shiteru) instead of している(shiteiru)). This is because I focused on phrases that sound more natural in conversation, rather than grammatically correct ones.

日本とアメリカは定期的にスラングが増えるからネイティブレベルになるのは難しいらしい
ちなみに「やばい」という言葉はとにかくやばいです。やばい位の汎用性とやばい数の意味を持ち、とにかくやばいことに関しては「やばい」と言っておけばやばい程伝わるのでやばいです。
(訳:ちなみに「やばい」という言葉はとにかく凄いです。凄まじい汎用性と凄い数の意味を持ち、とにかく何か大きな事があったら「やばい」と言えば大抵は伝わるのでやばいです。)
このレベルの日本語勉強してる人たちに「ヤバい」はまだヤバい。

でも、現代の日本語をきちんと理解しようとしたら、「ヤバい」の壁はヤバいくらい高い壁になるでしょうからね・・・

@@themasterweb8341 formal phrases or sentences are the ones you use when you're not close to someone for example someone you don't know! And informal are casual sentences which you use with friends and family!

特にinformalは人によって様々な種類があるからかなり大変だと思う。
「昼後はもう食べた？」の場合だと
お昼食べた？お昼ご飯どした？お昼ご飯終わった？お昼ご飯済んだ？
「普段何時に寝る？」の場合だと
普段何時に寝んの？いつも何時に寝るの？夜何時ごろ寝てる？寝てるの何時くらい？
若い人だともっと簡略化した日本語を使うのでかなり難易度上がる。
「ありがとうございました」の場合だと
あざっす、あざした、っざっす、っした
「お願いします」の場合だと
おなしゃす、しゃす、っす
これプラス地方に寄って方言や訛り（日本人ですら聞き取れない訛りもある）があるので苦労する😅
