I have read so many guides and tried every single tip, but to no avail. Mic volume is already at 100% changed USB port disabled exclusive mode changed the host and everything else.
@@thecoolcarhd4402 all i have is microphone level and exclusive mode. No boost or sampling rates. Is there a special driver? windows has applied "realtek audio USB" driver.
I would love to know how you got any kind of useable level off this microphone without a pre-amp. I saw this video and others that give the impression that the signal is strong and clean, but that's not what I get at all on my Windows 10 desktop. I have the input turned up all the way, and I still only get a signal that's maybe 25% as strong as it should be -- it's unusable unless I boost the levels in post production, which boosts the noise as well. I've seen other people reporting the same issue as me. Yet I see these video reviews that seem to present a completely different experience. I can get a good level on the mic only by virtually getting so close to it that I'm touching the microphone with mouth, which is not at all how the microphone is advertised. Again, I'd really love to see exactly how you get a strong solid signal from this microphone without a pre-amp or a post-production boost.
The laptop i use is a Evga sc15 gaming laptop, the microphone works perfectly fine with no external pre-amp. Yes a pre-amp will boost the overall performance but for me it also works fine with not much adjustment at all.
You have earned a sub sir. Great content and persuaded me to but this mic with my birthday money and hopefully I can use it to make youtube videos. Arrives tomorrow 😊
Hi :) I just bought the microphone after seeing this video but when I plugged it and used it. It doesn't seem to have Cardioid polar. Did you do something endable this? Thanks :)
its not the best choice really, wood is best to clamp it to. i do have a mic setup on a dual glass top desk but if you tighten it too much it will crack the glass. hope this helps
@@Gogetyours thanks it actually helped a lot and I'll figure something out. I was thinking of attaching it to my broken top drawer of my dresser it's right beside my pc and desk so it shouldn't be a problem to just extended it
it shouldn't, but if this was a table top mic i would say Yes it would and it might pickup vibration too but as you get that boom arm in the kit you really shouldn't have a problem. i hope this helps
The sampling rate seems good on the AU-A04 but as iv not tested it, cant really say, it's not a bad price really, but upto now the UHURU wasn't a bad package tbh, also watch the Neewer 8000 mic set, I got this not long ago. The pickup is slightly better than the UHURU without the fancy packaging.
hi there! nice video, do you think that the um900 microphone is better than the blue snowball ice I need to buy a microphone and these are my last 2 options
Yeah, this mic is fine for voice and music vocals. It's a pretty good starter mic kit. That and the neewer 8000. Obviously if you want true studio recording you will be looking to pay around £200-£300 for a professional Microphone alone.
Hey, I hope your still answering questions. Does this work for Nintendo Switch and Xbox because at 6:45 you said it's only for computers. I just want to make sure and thanks for answering if you can!
Thanks for this review. I just ordered this kit for my review and show channel and was a little worried about the affordable compared to quality. After this....I'm not the least bit worried any longer. Definitely subbing for more 🤘😁🤘
no you don't need a mixer, you can use one if you want to manually want to adjust levels but it should set up easy via the usb when attached to laptop and PC
The USB microphone contains the equivalent of a sound card for recording l, so no you will not need phantom power or a mixer. Should be fine for windows 10.
Thanks for the question, unfortunately it doesn't work direct with xbox, you can however use it in conjunction with a laptop Pc,xbox and xbox app. There are a good few guides on TH-cam on how to set up a usb microphone to a xbox along with how to connect a condenser mic. I hope this helps.
Yes, to use with a headset first you must connect the headset to the controller first and then mute the mic on the headset. Then connect the usb cable on the studio microphone.

you gotta squeeze the clasps together, it should open wide.

What would be a good mixer for this microphone ?
It does not require any mixer, plug and play

No it does not sorry bro, try buying an Razer Kraken X, it's really cheap and sound really nice

Can I use this without plugging it into a laptop. I have a USB plug but there's noway of turning it on.
I've got a similar mic but it goes to aux instead and I can't find the sounds option when I right click the volume
