It is indeed an amazing instrument, but very different sounding, it certainly is more of a cerebral and at the same time emotional instrument than something one interact with in a random fashion :) But yes the 3d wave seems to be amazing for that PPG vibe!
These are probably the least dated Synclavier presets I’ve heard; sounds beautiful! You said that FM modulation of samples is rare, but you didn’t say it doesn’t exist, so what other Hardware/software can do that? I’ve spent ten minutes searching for that, which isn’t a lot, but still, can you or anyone else here point to something? Takk på forhånd
Thanks a lot! :) Well, it does exist in SW, like Reactor, as far as I understand. But I havent seen an hardware implementation. The Nord Wave and the Yamaha SY77/99 and I believe, the newest Yamaha FM, can FM modulate in the other direction, You can use a sample to modulate a carrier. Sound amazing but also best in small doses. Like on the regen. The Arturia Synclavier V is the best solution for easy to use SW though :)
One sample only per carrier but the modulator can change per frame so the sample can be modulated over time. But yes, sample per frame is a suggestion I have been thinking about, but have not dared asking them yet :)
@@henrikstolpe Yes , I know the modulator can change over time-frames ( something that was not possible on the original and it was only a sine wave , no upper harmonics ) YOu can certainy ask Cameron JOnes He invited me to be a betatester for synclavier Go since I have discovered a years old Bug He's a verry friendly person!
@@WARDISWARDyes Cameron has allready developed some features Ive suggested :) I am betatesting a change in the resynthesis behaviour, so that even long complex samples can be analyzed. And I also suggested changes to the hybrid mode (zeroing carriers in cloned frames. And solo on/off for the frame when editing harmonics. So Im waiting for that first :)
Doesnt suck for me, I have become really fast using this, makes amazing sounds. I have imported hundreds of Emulator 2 samples that sounds great FM modulated!
Nice! Thanks for this demo.
Its a really incredible sounding thing. I prioritized buying the Groove Synthesis 3rd Wave but the Regen is still high in my list.

Holy Moly.

Can it sound a bit analog by toning down the fm and making other adjustments, I'm looking to make synwave which is mainly anolog sounding.. thanks
can you do use different samples for each frame (for frame sequencing ) , or is just 1sample per carrier
