I watched the entire (part 1 & 2) very useful to the tourists and one thing to clarify you that people under KFDC Gavi are not Sri lankan refugee. They are all Indian descendants emigrated & deployed in Tea plantations in Sri Lanka by British.

Just an update to folks who are planning to visit Gavi in the near future; The roads are pathetic. It is advisable to drive only if you have an SUV or vehicles with good ground clearance. Even though it is possible to make it even with small hatchbacks like swift/polo, the ride won't be pleasant and might damage your vehicle.

@@motorevbytibin2657 Yes. KFDC Gavi resort in open. I am planing to reach Angamoozhy check post by 11:00am. I won’t be able reach before that time because I will be coming from KTDC lake palace and from there I think it takes 3 hours to reach angamoozhy check post. I will be starting from lake palace at 8:00 am before that I don’t got option to checkout because of forest restrictions. How much time needed in general to reach KFDC Gavi stay from angamoozhy check post ? . Thank you

@@motorevbytibin2657 yes. Morning Checkout can be done at 8am there. After the checkout I need to drive to Angamoozhy check post which takes around 3hours as per google map. So I will reach the check post around 11am. After self drive will stay at KFDC Gavi

It will take above 3hrs, because road works are going on between Plappally & Angamoozhy. Only two wheelers allowed through that route now. So you have to deviate from Plappally to Laha - Chittar - Angamoozhy route. On which date you are planning your trip ?
