To be perfectly honest, I have never found a difference between primers and no prime. I wear a lot of skin care I would like to have my make up polished, but I truly can’t say that the day I wear the primer I noticed at night there’s a difference. As someone who until this catrice concealer couldn’t find one for my 76 year old under eyes is thrilled to find it. I know those glossy lips look FANTASTIC for making an entrance and perhaps for a selfie 💋however for reality and lips that don’t t disappear with the first glass of water all that goop doesn’t work for my reality. With age comes lip thinning so something that has some staying power is my go to
Unfortunately I have never found an affordable foundation and I've tried many. Maybe I haven't found the right shade in the 24 hr L'Oreal. 🤷🏼 Affordable for me is a $48 foundation in my collection. Ugh.
I'm not a fan of glossy lips on me either.
The only one I have found that makes a difference is the elf poreless putty primer. but that is because the pores on my nose drive me crazy when I just put foundation on them. if you don’t have that issue then maybe it doesn’t matter.
I recently had abdominal surgery to remove a tumour and asked the surgeon if it was pink because I figured all that lipstick over the years had to go somewhere

A new goodie for mascara is Loreal panorama, in a gold fat tube. It’s tubing, makes lashes thick and long. Best one I’ve tried in a while. And easy to get off too. No smudging as well

Another question if I may, do you have any primers/Texture perfectors that you recommend for a no-foundation look I.e. a Primer that can be worn alone please?
This L'Oréal mascara is amazing. My eyelashes are still recovering after chemo, and it honestly gives so much length and volume. Love it!!

Love this series. Especially when you bring the affordable products altogether at the end. I don’t have a budget for high-end, so I am super interested in the affordable. Good job as always! Very thorough! Will try a couple of the products: Elf lash it loud, waterproof mascara, Milani, make it last setting spray, and the Nyx line it loud lip liner.
Wish I loved the taste/smell of the L’Oréal Glow Paradise lip balm.

This is a beautiful look. I love the blush and the lips. My lips, when they are dry, I bite them. I keep saying I need to drink more water . Last time I tried to order elfs lip oil, they were sold out. I don't know what happened, but this is the first video by you to pop up in my feed. I thought you were taking a break. Really enjoyed this series Gemma, appreciate the time taken to do them all. I finally got my backside to Superdrug and bought the MUA eye palette in Desert Bloom and it really is so nice, so affordable and great quality for the price👍
There are some gems in MUA, the cream bronzer is very good, similar to Nars and pro base primer in spark, taupe coloured tube is a Charlotte tilbury dupe, so nice and most of it well under a tenner.

I love the ELF grip primer!! The original Poreless Putty made me break out 😢 I'm so jealous of your eyelids. Mine are hooded 🙄 I've been using the Elf Halo powder and love it. I do want to try the Collection one. I did enjoy this series!!

It looked like you did something as before you started eyeshadow, there was a colour correction that happened off camera. Could you tell us what that product that was? I can't do anything with the elf halow glow liquid filter can't mix with my foundation what I wanted it for can't get a foundation match and it changes the colour I'll have to buy a lighter one and try over my make up xx
