XG is the only group where everyone is a bias. They are without a doubt the most talented group top to bottom out there. It’s criminal that they are not absolutely HUGE already globally. Their charisma and the aura they give off is just insane 🔥🔥🔥
Yes, I agree because all members shine equally, they support each other, complement each other and have their own roles in the group, no one covers each other. This is what differentiates them from other groups where sometimes one or two members are only made for complements without having a significant contribution.

Actually if we look back to some 90s pop MVs, some artist put some 60s 70s fashion influence in their concept, so retro futuristic kinda style, what i love about XG concept in this MV is that they're fully commited with retro R&B concept, they recreated the TLC, aaliyah style, even the make up color is so early 2000
Some of the other artists/idol on k-pop are more towards mixing a lot of genre/concepts so the impression is a bit awkward and sometimes it feels odd and cringy because the concept doesn't fit well, but unlike what XG did they really carry the R&B concept, their concept is just on point with the song, the outfit style, the music video and choreography, that make everyone feel nostalgic and they executed it so well, kudos to them.
ive never had so much hope for a global girl group and english songs with the appeal of the kpop formula than i do now. xg is seriously the future, they're starting to getting recognition now but they deserve so so much more, i cant even fathom how amazed we're gonna be when they release a whole EP or album. theyre slaying with singles so far, i might just pass out if they give us an album of mvs like newjeans

This video captures the energy from the late 90's to early 2000's I'd say from 1997 to 2002. If you watch pop and R&B videos from those times, they have similar styles in visuals and camera angles. This is the type of song and video that I could easily see on MTV Total Request Live (TRL) with Carson Daly, or BET 106 and Park. I do hope that overall, they lean into this corner of R&B because I really love that genre. Looking forward to either a mini album or full album as their next release!
@@jam6483 Because Maya is the most fluent in English and of course Japanese and Korean too, that's why she is the speakers in the group even though jurin is the leader, I don't know the English level of the other members because it seems they rarely use English in their interview or they lack confidence in their English because according to the info when they debuted they were confirmed to master 3 languages (Japanese, Korean, English).

Back in the 1990s, there was a magazine called Heavy Metal(graphic novel magazine) and they have some of the most futuristic science fiction to primordial ooze conversing...yeah way out there but the imagery...i have to find which issue but imagery comes from that magazine. Especially where Maya and Hinata are zoomed in sitting across from one another...that is mirror image of a scene in there. XG is blowing my mind with their MVs.
