I keep thinking about how one of the Japanese trainees in Produce 48 said that Korean acts are accepted in Japanese markets but not reciprocated with Japanese acts in Korean markets. I think XG's approach to a global market was the right choice
I really want them to blow up. They are surrounded by controversy and criticism in Korea due to silly k-pop politics and that just makes me so sad because they are so much better than they are being treated. Keep that momentum going ladies because the world sees you and we are living!
So one of the main thing I've mentioned was the fact they are a form of "Asian Pop" whether kpop, jpop w/e, they are given creative freedom due to not being signed with a kpop or jpop label. Being part of that kpop culture and its labels makes if very difficult to express one's self, not to mention a lot of kpop songs are written for the groups with very little to no input from the members themselves. These girls have a MASSIVE future ahead of them and I truly believe they will pave the road for a new generation. Can't wait....
