These fishes and anemones Co exist .They need corals too.So it's hard to raise them in captivity.I like to raise them nevertheless much craze for these species will put them at risk.
What makes you think it is hard to raise in captivity?? Just bit curious
Cos it needs salt water and that too maintaining the salinity and ph levels are important.
Reg the captivity and breeding Studies suggest that clownfish and other anemonefish are suffering population declines in the wild because of overharvesting for the aquarium trade.
I am certainly not blaming u or disappointing u but just the fact what I read.
@@dinesh2666 yes , setting up and maintaining those parameters is very important, doesn't mean it is hard.
& Clownfish doesn't need necessarily the Anemones in home aquariums.. Read what is their symbiotic relationship & needs of each others in the wild and imagine if that is satisfied in the home aquariums..
& Regarding population decline, agreed it was the case earlier,, Now clownfish are being bred in millions by various farms in the world, and also by Government centres.. we have CMFRI doing it in Rameshwaram, TN, and we got several breeders across TN as well..
We have been capturing fish from the sea for food, do you think we are going to reduce the population of the fish ?? I dont think so.. More and more we are exposed to these fish, we get to learn more and more about them..
