Nice video Ashley, always good to see a self build system. You dont see many Vyaire pumps being used but they are well made. The reason your pump works better is because you have water pressing down on the rubber diaphragm creating positive pressure which prevents air bubbles forming when priming
Hi Ashley. Great video. You probably do but its worth turning the pump of over night. It saves any draw on the battery so it lasts longer between charges and if there are any leeks its always at night when your not watching it.
Best investment is an xline 45 litre tank, so versatile and I Carry about 10 off 20 litre containers at a time, David from Australia 😀👍 in a Volkswagen caddy SWB
Hi ash great video I bought a pump everflo pump so I just need to know the name of the connections you have connected to the pump inlet and outlet so as to attach my hose cheers bro
Hi ashley, I just received my 100psi 6.9lpm shur flow pump. Can you tell me please what size fuse you are using? Thanks for your videos, inspirational stuff.
I'm tryig to make my own system... I've a small van. The pump i have is 5-6ltrs a min. My problem is hoses... what hoses do I use. I see you have yours connected to gardening connections... my pump is 10mm going to a 5mm reel... is that wrong or any help? What's your setup more so to do with connections than pump and battery?
Greetings from the United States of America 🇺🇸.. Where can I get those fittings you have on the hose can you tell me the name of the fittings so I can re-search for I might be able to buy them here in the United States thank you kindly
Possibly, I suppose so. I’m not an electrician. The controller allows you to vary the amount of flow in order to control the amount of water you use. I think if you just connect it to a switch you would only have full power or off?👍🏼
I was doin barrels with a trolley system to start with, soon bought a 300litre tank lol.. why dont u buy a 150-200l tank? Saves time messin about with the barrels
I’ve been exploring different ideas and methods and I really wanted to show this on my channel too. Ultimately I’m hoping to sort out a bigger van and tank if possible.💦😃👍🏼
Sprinklers!? Not really my area of expertise, but I think that the more sprinklers you have, the bigger pump you will need that delivers a greater litres per minute.😃👍🏼
I do not see the fuses to protect battery and pump motor , do you have a water filter at the pump inlet ? For information there is a kit with a smaller motor, just a little less flow: 100psi 4.5 L/mn ; this motor consumes less current (3 times less) - I think yours needs 8 Ampere and this one 2.3 Ampere , so you can have a smaller battery too (45Ah) , less weight and space ... BUT is it so reliable ?? 10.5 Volt seems very low, for a car , not below 12V is recommended , avoid under 11 V ...
There is a fuse that came with the controller in the little grey box with all the other wiring connections. I didn’t need such a big battery, that was an error on my part, and yeah it could do with a filter before the pump. But apart from that, it’s very reliable and still works well. I have a van mounted system for window cleaning now, but I still use this diy setup quite a lot now for applying biocide to roofs.😃👍🏼
Hi, thanks for your video. I’m currently running a water fed pole for window cleaning and would like to add in the option of house cleaning with the pole. My current hose diameter is 5/16” OD (3/16 ID). What hose diameter do you suggest for running the biocide and surfactant setup? Is a flow control box necessary?
Hi, I wonder if you could help!! Could you let me know where you purchased the connectors for the shurflo pump in this video? We use the shurflo recommendation but the leak like mad... thanks for your help
John McCarthy The pump is about £75, the controller is about £80, and the battery is about £75. Plus the bits and pieces of hose and the wood it’s mounted on. I’ve put some links in the description. I hope that helps.😃👍🏼
My setup look the same, but I have plastic boxes for the pump and flow controller ... but bigger tank 👍👍👍 You save much to build yourself,,, Any Transporter coming up? My caddy got hit in the rear, waiting for it to be fixed
Shout out to you all the way from the USA!
Big up! Whoop whoop!😎👍🏼

Squeaky Clean Dave Yes I do turn it off at the end of the day. These things are easy when you know, but worth pointing out.😃👍🏼

Hey
Do you have a video showing and description of which hose it is and all the fittings to click on to the pump as well please e
Would this system work for cleaning solar panels, your channel is so informative and helpful it really makes a difference, thankyou.
Sure. I normally use a higher flow for solar panels, and this can be easily adjusted with the controller.😃👍🏼
Hi ash great video I bought a pump everflo pump so I just need to know the name of the connections you have connected to the pump inlet and outlet so as to attach my hose cheers bro
Mine is 3/8 inlet and outlet lad
I would get the people who supplied you with the pump to sort you out with the right connections for your hose.😃👍🏼

These fittings come from the Gardiner website in the UK.👍🏼
Hi - great video. Do you need the flow controller? I have a switch panel with some spare switches which are fused. Could just come off of that?
Possibly, I suppose so. I’m not an electrician. The controller allows you to vary the amount of flow in order to control the amount of water you use. I think if you just connect it to a switch you would only have full power or off?👍🏼

Jack Stratfull that’s the set up I’ve got at the mo, not changed to tank yet as maybe changing my van

Hello, great video! What pressure do you recommend for 10 sprinklers?
Sprinklers!? Not really my area of expertise, but I think that the more sprinklers you have, the bigger pump you will need that delivers a greater litres per minute.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh I mean 10 outputs of water like in the video, not really sprinklers.
What wires do you use to connect your pump to the battery please mate.
When you get a pump controller you should also be supplied with all the wires you need and a diagram of how to do it.👍🏼
Thank you
Nice setup. How much water would you go through in a day? The two tanks in your truck, do you need to refill them?
Red Rock Maintenance Yeah, each of these barrels are 25litre, you can easily get through 150-200litres in a full day.😃👍🏼

Cory H In the uk we mostly work with 8mm hose reels and lighter 5mm up the pole. I actually use a 6mm hose reel which is a bit lighter.😃👍🏼

The fittings on the pump itself came with it, and the hose fittings you can get from Gardinerpolesystems.co.uk
Hi I'm looking for Windows washing connecting pole, how can i get it i'M in South Africa
hello mate. Where did you buy the adaptor for the (aqua stop to rectus 21) from, I cant find them anywhere lol
Check out the Gardiner website, it has all the hose fittings you could ever wish for!😉👍🏼
@@aemackintosh oh nice. Thanks Ash 😊
Hi bud, what amp battery you using?
It’s a standard leisure battery from Halfords. I went for the bigger one, but I would have been fine with a small one to be honest.
Hello where did you get the arms for hose lock connections to fit your pump ?
Thanks
The Gardiner website has a great range of hose connectors and fittings.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh thank you for replying

Pure water.😃👍🏼
Hi Ashley, did you ground the battery to the van?
No😬👎🏼
Thank you, have a great weekend 👍
Hi Ashley just wondering how much this set up would cost to put together thanks

@@aemackintosh thanks for getting back to me it's a good setup I'm working from a back pack at the moment hoping to upgrade soon thanks again
I hope it goes well. Keep up the good work.😃👍🏼

Robert 😬 I’m still looking for just the right van, getting a bit frustrating now though.😃👍🏼
I'm interested how can i get kits??
Get in touch with DA Components.😃👍🏼
See when u use a chemical
And then u go on to use the pure water dose it take u long to flush out the pump and hose
Irish Salmonlures No, not at all, the pure water will wash it through nicely. But I really just use this setup just for biocide applications now.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh thanks for the reply
