This movie is so well done. True to life story and the best part is that they did due diligence to find the killer. All the actors are extremely talented. A must watch for people who like crime movies.
An excellent movie. Down to earth. Extremely real in its depiction of differing humans and differing reactions to stress and to life itself. No stupid explosions and over the top effects. Thoughtful and suspenseful. One of the best.

Enjoyed this story as the detectives search for clues and try their best to uncovered information. We get a glimpse of what a detective has to deal with on duty and that they also have a personal life, as well. Also we see that it is tough to be young and new to the force to be accepted by those with more years of experience. The story was well written and acted.
Judd Nelson has come a long way. I absolutely loved him in Breakfast Club. He has a flare for acting in every day situations where it doesn’t seem fake.
I recognized that he name and the face looked familiar, but I couldn’t figure where I knew him from. Thanks for clearing up that mystery. He did a great job in The Breakfast Club and in this movie as well. Tom Arnold did a really good job as well.

👏 👏 👏 I lived in Lakeland at the time this movie was being filmed. It was quite the buzz. I knew the medical advisor who helped with the design of the hospital setting and is also one of the extras. Lakeland’s historic district is quite charming and I do miss living there a lot.

Ah! This was a hard movie on my emotions. Anger mostly about the senseless suffering meted out on those women by those animals. And the hurt and pain people go through in their personal lives. That last corridor shot was...hard.
Great movie! One problem for me as a hearing impaired person: The doggone CAPTIONS are delayed and LAG by 1 to 2 minutes throughout the movie... Perhaps someone will read this and correct that, but probably not a big enough issue to spend any time or $ on...
And what will we have to show for the life we were given? Imagine how many things we could have made instead of watching films? I feel so bad about that; I'm always conscious about the life I'm missing on. Instead of watching exciting things, we could be doing equally exciting things. Don't mean criminal things🤣 I've injured my both arms, so I have a little excuse but still, I could be doing something useful, somehow.

No, Not possible.) shot in a hothouse in the Botanical Garden in Berlin with a small Budget indeed. Of course it is not all that Long so there. Now, Here seems to have come quite unexpectedly some kind of fork in the fate of write and wrong of messageing and as I'm at a loss to decide how to proceed I stop .. Experimental Stop maybe and Wave to you in the world, E-Kat!!
This was a terrific movie. Everyone was a good actor, but especially Judd Nelson-----he was extremely believable. It kept me on the edge of my seat long past the needed time frame to use the bathroom. Watch this, it's such a good crime/detective/thriller.
I see nobody cared that no forensic team was in the suspect homem detective ordered the other detective to take pictures of everything. Somebody in a budget couldn't have forensics, the State or the movie producer
'How was your day?' '- Let's stick to yours'. I wish more married couples were like those two! 'I am not looking forward to going home'. That puts grief in a nutshell.
Whatta great movie! Storyline was super good. Enjoyed all the acting by the characters. Judd Nelson was perfect for this part, so patient. I've been a law enforcement for 35 years and this is as real as it gets... unfortunately. This will make you realize why we are needed out there. Whether you like us or not.
I highly doubt that. I joined the Militay Police in '86 and have only 38 years in law enforcement. If, as most people do, you used your birth year as part of your user handle that makes your earliest LEO experince 1996, which is only 28 years ago. And, my friend, this is not even close to realistic. Please stop writing this kind of stuff.
@harleydrifter the suffering and the pain that was shown in this movie was demonstrated very well in felt real to me and also dealing with the stress of personal issues and still trying to go out here and do a good job and help somebody that desperately needed it regarding the victim those things happen and police and other investigators go through this kind of stuff granted this is an extreme case of a kidnapping and imminent death situation and in reality they're probably would have been some animals eating on her in the forest at night because any predatorial animal would probably sense that she was helpless and probably would start eating her while she was alive that's the only thing that did not seem too realistic tell me it would have been more realistic if she was tied up in a basement somewhere but what I was referring to was the frustration of dealing with personal problems while you are trying to go out here and work your case, that was portrayed very well in my opinion by the actors and no I was not born in 1978 I am in my 60s now that's just the handle that TH-cam forced on me I did not choose that as a username I don't know how that number got in there and frankly it doesn't bother me so I just left it and you are entitled to your opinion which I could care less about I'm just responding to clarify. In my many years as a police officer I had the distinct honor and privilege of working alongside some of the finest individuals you would ever meet that would put their life on the line for each other and strangers and to me that is what the job is all about but unfortunately also some very unscrupulous and dirty cops as well. Some of us worked very hard myself included trying to do the right thing and some of us worked very hard to try to do nothing and only if you've been on the street for a very long time do you know what I mean by that. The interaction between the lead detective and the other guy assisting him was really to me very realistic and my favorite part of it because I knew so many people I work with that were like both of them but I was more like the guy who was assisting the lead detective there are a lot of real arrogant sobs who are just climbing and when you do a good job they are actually threatened by you and I never realized that to years later in my career it's really no different than any other job human nature is just human nature but it takes a certain kind of person to be able to deal with all that insanity and still keep your own sanity and go home every night. A guy I worked with and got pretty close with back in the 90s started to have personal problems with his wife and she screwed him over horribly and he came home to find the house empty and the two kids gone with her and within a week he took his own life the fact that we go through all kinds of stuff and see really bad things certainly did not help his situation any but for some reason I really like the acting in this and the interaction between the two cops that was very realistic the little attitudes and things like that and eventually they came around to each other but that really does happen a lot more than people think and cops aren't always stuck together like glue as you probably know there are some real in-house issues with each other like throwing a bunch of pitbulls together in the same cage it doesn't always turn out to be one big happy family. A lot of cops come to this job with mental issues and the badge only amplifies them unfortunately but that's a whole nother story

Good flick. Good acting. Very realistic plot. Worth the watch.. Left me thinking about life and death... and all the lessons in between.
A totally BRILLIANT movie !!!!
I see nobody cared that no forensic team was in the suspect homem detective ordered the other detective to take pictures of everything. Somebody in a budget couldn't have forensics, the State or the movie producer

I've been a law enforcement for 35 years and this is as real as it gets... unfortunately. This will make you realize why we are needed out there. Whether you like us or not.
I highly doubt that. I joined the Militay Police in '86 and have only 38 years in law enforcement. If, as most people do, you used your birth year as part of your user handle that makes your earliest LEO experince 1996, which is only 28 years ago. And, my friend, this is not even close to realistic. Please stop writing this kind of stuff.
@harleydrifter the suffering and the pain that was shown in this movie was demonstrated very well in felt real to me and also dealing with the stress of personal issues and still trying to go out here and do a good job and help somebody that desperately needed it regarding the victim those things happen and police and other investigators go through this kind of stuff granted this is an extreme case of a kidnapping and imminent death situation and in reality they're probably would have been some animals eating on her in the forest at night because any predatorial animal would probably sense that she was helpless and probably would start eating her while she was alive that's the only thing that did not seem too realistic tell me it would have been more realistic if she was tied up in a basement somewhere but what I was referring to was the frustration of dealing with personal problems while you are trying to go out here and work your case, that was portrayed very well in my opinion by the actors and no I was not born in 1978 I am in my 60s now that's just the handle that TH-cam forced on me I did not choose that as a username I don't know how that number got in there and frankly it doesn't bother me so I just left it and you are entitled to your opinion which I could care less about I'm just responding to clarify. In my many years as a police officer I had the distinct honor and privilege of working alongside some of the finest individuals you would ever meet that would put their life on the line for each other and strangers and to me that is what the job is all about but unfortunately also some very unscrupulous and dirty cops as well. Some of us worked very hard myself included trying to do the right thing and some of us worked very hard to try to do nothing and only if you've been on the street for a very long time do you know what I mean by that. The interaction between the lead detective and the other guy assisting him was really to me very realistic and my favorite part of it because I knew so many people I work with that were like both of them but I was more like the guy who was assisting the lead detective there are a lot of real arrogant sobs who are just climbing and when you do a good job they are actually threatened by you and I never realized that to years later in my career it's really no different than any other job human nature is just human nature but it takes a certain kind of person to be able to deal with all that insanity and still keep your own sanity and go home every night. A guy I worked with and got pretty close with back in the 90s started to have personal problems with his wife and she screwed him over horribly and he came home to find the house empty and the two kids gone with her and within a week he took his own life the fact that we go through all kinds of stuff and see really bad things certainly did not help his situation any but for some reason I really like the acting in this and the interaction between the two cops that was very realistic the little attitudes and things like that and eventually they came around to each other but that really does happen a lot more than people think and cops aren't always stuck together like glue as you probably know there are some real in-house issues with each other like throwing a bunch of pitbulls together in the same cage it doesn't always turn out to be one big happy family. A lot of cops come to this job with mental issues and the badge only amplifies them unfortunately but that's a whole nother story
You know you are incredibly unlucky when your abductor dies in a random accident and nobody knows where you are.
