    Hi Scott, you are simply crushing it with your playing and showing us how to shape the phrase. This is what makes players sound professional. The details count a lot. Thanks for these tips!!

      Yeah man, the details are the difference! Notes and rhythms don't make something sound cool.

    Thanks Scott! Great video, as always! Can you say a few words about your Mauriat tenor? Do you like it as much as your alto? Have you played Selmer Mark vi and Eastman 52nd street? How would you compare your tenor with those ones? Which is your second favourite tenor?

    Hi Scott - I have listened to just about every video you have put out - It’s like getting a drink from a fire hydrant! I appreciate the fact, to this point, it has only cost me aspirin for my headache. I do need to think about “real time” lessons just to see if I am on the right track. I love your straight forward to the point teaching style - you certainly have the gift of music and teaching. Looking forward to your next video!

    Hi Scott,
    Great and useful vdo again. Would be very fun if you had played it with a Tenor Madness backing track.
    As I m a tenor sax player, I m so happy when you use it, it s so rare...I was surprised as you do not use the brazilian mouthpiece.
    Btw, what is the photo back to you? Is it you playing with Eros Ramazotti? Take care great professor.

    • @ScottPaddock
      @ScottPaddock  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The lick is only 4 measures, but maybe I should have done it with the track. I'll be playing a lot more tenor. In my sax school that I am launching in July all examples will be on alto and tenor. I'm going to do a video on my tenor mp this coming week. Yeah, that is in Verona, Italy which is a colleseum style arena. A photographer took that picture and tagged me in it... needless to say I got the original and blew it up on a canvas 😁 It's a good reminder of my time on the road with the band.

    Could you make a video on making clean articulations for beginners? Sometimes when I articulate it isn’t very smooth. Specifically with a flat and g on tenor

    Hi Scott, Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. Right now I'm working on "thinking out loud", but I'd really like you to show how to work with the real book of sax, I downloaded it a month ago, and I see it's parts are quite short, how can I study it? Regards from Costa Rica.

    Hi Scott,
    Should you accept my suggestion, this playlist with 90+ videos is very good and it would help much if you could break it down into smaller groups by topics. It would be great for us students and it will certainly improve the views as it will become easier to find them. Thank you for your amazing classes.
