40:40 The card "Try, Try Again" allows you to reroll a single die twice in a row. It's written inside the parenthesis. So you could roll a second time had the first reroll was not what you needed.
15:15 I was very surprised when you re-rolled the large straight. That ability could have gotten the knockout with the Shark Bait card or potentially with the addition of the keg.
Hey Cam! haha Indeed I would normally have stuck with the large straight there. That would have been the better play. Good eye! However, for the first chunk of this video my focus was about onboarding new players. So I wasn’t min/maxing everything so people could see how things flow to start. As you’ll see though, that begins to change midway through the video! 😉 Thanks for watching! 👍🏼
@@RollingSoloI don't know if it comes up later or gets addressed, but at this same time keeping the skull is pointless. 3 chests activates the ability. The ability then allows you to roll 3 dice and trigger effects based on the 3 rolled symbols. The skull rolled before the ability triggers has no effect..... just to clarify for the new players
This is great! Can't wait for the second round. Curious why you chose to discard Double Up! rather than spend the 1 CP to get two cards which you could then discard for 2 CP. Is there a downside to decking yourself during the portal crawl?

31:15 you were going to try to use the 4 of a kind effect of cutlass strike but you didnt actually have 4 of the same number (not same symbol).
