Man this is the my first face dive into FNF mods and this place is huge. I gotta say the whole story behind the BF's AU, Yourself, is sad af. Actually hearing Herself's voice quietly hidden behind Yourself's singing is such a good and subtle touch, and the animation conveys a lot of emotion. At first I thought this was going to be like an exe thing but looking up the lore for this song really changed the tone. It's like the leadup to the lyrics and the whole song is Yourself teaming up with BF to wake up Herself, just long enough to show her his/their way so she can say how proud she is of him. By the end after the cutscene is where they really start to sync up and flow, just doing their thing. The fact that the lyrics and character's movements sync with eachother at times like a mirror is super mesmerizing. I don't know if this gets asked a lot or happens at all but... I'd love to either see more songs revolving around Yourself or some kind of comic, animation, anything that can lay out the story more.
Going with this interpretation, I like to think they succeeded. After Herself shows up and sings a brief harmony with Yourself the notes are only blue- Gf/Herself's signature red having left. Be it because she can rest in peace now that she properly got to see it "his way" or for some other reason i have no idea

5:09 If you listen closely here we all know that Herself was singing along side himself in this part but we overlooked the part where himself suddenly sounded like an Opera singer out of nowhere his voice was deep and in theory could be his original voice and through out the whole song he is just forcing his voice and so he kinda sound like his voice is strained, that deep voice was absolutely beautiful 🔥.

Nossa quão bom é ver eles completando as frases um do outro, nas primeiras estrofes um completa o final das estrofes de cada um , na segunda parte da música eles já cantam quase juntos as mesmas frases . Agora a terceira a gente vê o yourself subindo mais as notas como se quisesse realmente falar algo , e o BF apenas mantendo o tom e mudando a postura normal dele pra uma postura mais empolgado , muito bom também a segunda voz do yourself na parte cantada (lirics) uma voz sombria no fundo da voz dele, a pose dele também de alguém que parece que tentou de tudo e no fim não consegui o que queria ( com os braços e ombros caídos ) ...depois eles conseguem trazer a música de volta sem perder o ritmo com os dois cantando as mesmas frases pra finalizar .... Na primeira parte da música ele tava querendo impressionar e provar pro bf o vencendo, mas o bf não deixa pq ele quer cantar junto, e fica aquele épico até;
Na segunda parte o yourself tenta dificultar com uma outra skin porque ele tá lá pra vencer o bf, mas no finalzinho o Bf se exibe e o Yourself não deixa;
Na parte 3 o Yourself que só tava a depressão sem emoção fica tenso, e já parte pra cima, o que mais o motiva a ficar de pé, enquanto o bf não tá entendendo caçarolas nehumas;
Só que chegando na parte 4, o Yourself fica emocionado, o ícone de raiva muda pra de emocionado, e solta uma das melhores partes da musica, e chegamos na parte 4,5 que ele queria dizer pra todos que ele só está lá pra PROVAR que ele ainda merece 😔, e chega a parte 5 que faz parecer que o Yourself saiu de uma terapia, só 😀
