The negetive sign in this formula doesn't emphasizes the decrease in Gibbs free energy.This negetive is used because the flow of electrons is from Negetive terminal to positive , if flow would have been from positive to negetive terminal then Positive charge would have been written . I just mean ,formula toh sahi likhi hai ,lekin the essence of understanding, I felt that is wrong. Hope u will understand what I want to convey
