    At 58:26, If you multiply the reaction by 2, wouldn't the half reaction then be 1.54V? And the new total would be 1.77V?
    edit: 1:03:12 The answer is no.

    • @favourfriday7153
      @favourfriday7153 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the reaction is multiplied by a coefficient the cell potential won't be affected or altered.
      It is only altered when the reaction is reversed.

    ∆G = ∆G^o - RT lnQ
    I have 2 textbook here of Gen Chemistry saying that
    ∆G = ∆G^o + RT lnQ
    ^o is to superscript, to set delta G in standard state
    I am learning a lot from you but I like to clarify this formula..Thank you.

    Can any one help in how you come to 25080 if you 1.1 - 0.97 = 013 divided again by 0.591 does not make 25080. Clear this up for me please he not explaining well about 2 x 1.1 - 0.97 ÷ 0.591 my calculator is not coming up with any of his answers

    Mistake at 32:52, this is not a product-favoured system, Q is the initial concentration ratio. However, the positive standard cell potential is indicating that it is a product-favoured system since the reaction is spontaneous.
    Am I correct?

    31:59 into the video how do I get the answer 25080. 1.1v - 0.97 ÷ 0.0591 can't get the answer as he not say if you multiple by 2 or 10 or just 1.1v - 0.97. Help

      I think just made up the concentration values in order to plug them into the Q expression

    I like your method of teaching and crystal clear explanation. But one major demerits of your video is the very low volume of voice
