Even though it was synced in the beginning it went off sync towards the middle and end. This might have to do with the two cameras recording at different frame rates.

Nice save with the stab reversed. Could have had a different ending if it crashed on the highway below. Must get mine built. I have a MicroDAN 2505 "Custom" 2535Kv which should suit it

Gotta give you some credit for flying the s800 without any color on it for orientation! When I did my line of sight/trim flight I was having a heck of a time keeping orientated... Where do you have your pots set on the stabilizer? Thanks for the video, Jamie
I'm using the Lemon RX with the pots in the middle position, I then can dial it up or down or off from my radio.
7demo7 So your not using the stabilizer that came with the pnp version of the s800? The one that came with it seems super sensitive. I put it on a switch as well, honestly haven't used it the last couple times I was out flying.
Yes, I got the kit version- I love the Lemon Rx with the DX8 you can set the pot sensitivity and have master control with a dial- and another switch to turn it off and on

I'm going to build one of these for the first time but my question is should I use a receiver with stabilization inside the receiver? Or should I set it up with an Omnibus flight controller with inav to get the gyro on there? I don't know which would be better for this thanks
Just use a rx with stabilizer.... simple as...
7demo7 I was going to use a Naza32 in one of these but have a question maybe you can answer. Will it matter if the naza32 is slightly offset to the right of the cg maybe and inch or two? Do you think this will effect the Fc ability to work properly ?

do you have any good tips on how to not become disorientated with a wing. I would find it hard without a tail once i get far away.
I don't take it far,,, but yesterday night I did and lost orientation and crashed- no damage.. Fpv always helps too- Im going to add the fpv soon
Give it a big high contrasting stripe on only one side. Maybe even paint the Winglets orientation colors.

looks like the board you showed on your unboxing was just the flight control board from the kit and not the stabilizer. Does the kit version actually have a flight stabilizer or just the flight control board? I bought the kit, and didnt think that board actually has a stabilizer on it, just the PNP version.
The board in that video was the pdb (power distribution board). Kit version has no stabilizer, just pdb

with the Spectrum Dx8 you can turn it on and off as well as using the knob to increase or decrease gain
What model is the one that Riff is flying?
I forget the name but it was produce by a local company here called Hobby People. I think it was sold by a few other companies as well. The foam was pretty fragile but guys get them going super fast,
