This is heartbreaking to hear. I’m so sorry for your loss. Dogs just don’t live long enough and I dread the day that I have to say goodbye to Winston. Dozer was very lucky to be part of your family. May he rest peacefully. ❤

I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope as time passes it won't hurt so much and you can enjoy all the memories you made together.
We are so pleased to hear you will be continuing to share your caravan adventures, as newbies we find your videos really helpful and it is from your inspiration I am sat in The Moody Cow writing this comment now. The hot tub has been a real treat, so thanks for that one and look forward to more from you in 2025 albeit we will miss Dozer very much ❤

Ah, Mac and Sarah. Please don’t think that you need to hide your tears from anyone. How brave you are. I think one of the reasons that we love watching you is that you’re such a lovely genuine couple. We have suffered pet loss and really feel for you. I feel comforted that you know how much our lovely caravanning community are right behind you in support of you both at this sad time. It’s such a credit to you both that you are thinking about making content next year and we will definitely be on the lookout for it. You will both carry Dozer along with you in your hearts wherever you go, and I for one will be watching with that in mind. Big hugs from Amanda and Paul.❤️

Sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our dog in 2013, and we've not been able to bring ourselves to get another. It's like losing a family member. As with all bereavements, it does get easier and the hurt is replaced by memories. There are campsites we haven't revisited as they were among the last we visited with our dog. All the best and Merry Christmas.

Hi Graham, thanks really appreciate it. We totally agree, it's absolutely like loosing a family member. Sorry you've felt that pain too. We can definitely understand not wanting to go back to sites that have that association. Thanks again and happy Christmas to you both.

Sending you both so much love. Your love for Dozer truly shines through and he will always be with you. Giving that special person in your life the joy of all those adventures meant so much to us also. We just burst into floods of tears on our first trip away without our beautiful boy and we found ourselves just looking at everyone else’s dogs. We eventually decided to get a new puppy and what a shock it is. We decided after having two boys to get a girl this time. She will never be an Oscar or Dozer and it will never change your memories but she has helped. Dozer was so lucky to of had such lovely owners that gave him the life that you did. Sending you both all our love. Xx🐾

Hi folks, feeling your loss. We’ve been there and for us the only cure for our broken hearts was to find another fur baby to love. We felt guilty at first but they are all different and we will never forget our previous best friend. I would also add that it is important to take time to heal. You will know if and when the time is right. We look forward to seeing more of your excellent vlogs in 2025. X

So sorry to hear about Dozer, he was a character and I'm sure you will always have great memories of him. When our Springer Spaniel Bailey died we were so upset we swore we'd never go through it again. Here we are 3 years later with another Spaniel called Milo, and we wouldn't be without him. I do however keep a Capsule with some of Baileys fur and a puppy tooth inside. And I wear it everytime we go away. I have always enjoyed your channel, and I'm sure you will find a way to carry on making great videos, even without the great Dozer in them. All the best Mally, stay strong.

Having said goodbye, in January, to our little Jack Russell of 17 years be comforted in the knowledge that the pain of the loss will pass in time, leaving only the happy memories without the upset.
Adjusting to caravanning without a dog after so long isn't as hard as you may fear. In some senses it's a little bit of a relief knowing you have no ties and restrictions. Its surprising how relaxing that freedom can be.
There are so many beautiful places to see in the UK. Take look at touring North Yorkshire, the Peak District, The Lakes, Wales and Scotland. Next year we are planning 3 weeks touring the eastern side of Scotland from Edinburgh right up the east coast.

Just watched your latest video for 2024. My heart goes out to you both and to see you so emotional is very hard. We had to say goodbye to our Spaniel Sammy 3 years ago which was very difficult. There was a big hole in the front room somuch that we decided to have a new doggy and we chose a lovely girl black Lab. Millie has become a kingpin for us and has filled the hole in our lives. You can never forget a pet such as Dozer but time will heal. Thank you for all your videos. Have the best Festive season and look to the future.
By the way we have a place we always love to go in our van which is Inclboro Fields near Cromer which is a CAMC site.

Thank you for sharing this journey with us. Losing a best friend is so very difficult. My husband and I have started adopting rescue dogs about 12 years ago. We've lost 4 of them so far and they are still with us every day. I promise, there'll be a day when you can look back and smile, without crying, it just needs time❤.
We discovered your channel about 2 years ago before our first camping trip to the UK and have been massive fans since. We are taking off for another trip tomorrow and will be staying in one of the glamping units at Back of Beyond on the way. We'll send Dozer and you some happy thoughts from the woodland walk.

Merry Christmas both, If you’ve never been abroad in your van before start somewhere easy like Camping memling Bruges Belgium. Only an hour and half from the tunnel and you can relax there walking into the town for a visit.. it was terrible when we lost our first dog, so we 100% know where you guys are at… take some time out, we look forward to seeing your adventures next year but don’t feel like you tube is your job as your friends here will patiently await whatever you share in future. If you ever need tips for places to go and adventures abroad let us know - think we are on country 10 now and have really caught the bug. Take care, try to have the best Christmas you can xx

Hi Mac & Sarah. Like you, we had a caravan because we had a dog and losing him was a wrench. Since he's been gone we have been able to travel extensively abroad without having to worry about the restrictions of travelling with a pet; BUT! We still miss him and after several years we are now considering getting another dog to share our lives with.
Remember; the sorrow will lessen in time and if you have love to give, (which you obviously do), you may eventually want another one. Don't consider it as a replacement for Dozer but simply as another doggie companion. Have a peaceful Christmas. Steve & Helen.

Hello again Mac and Sarah. It is always hard and will be for a long while yet, but it just shows what Dozer meant to you both. Louise still can't look at pictures of the three we lost even though two of them were two years ago. There is no rush to stop grieving, the same as there is no rush to plan the next step. Time is the healer and your memories are what allows you to have peace and happiness in time. Stay safe. Duncan and Louise.

So sorry to hear about Dozer, absolutely gutted for you both. You made me cry watching the video. Earlier in the year, I was watching your video with Dozer in a Buggy, I asked you where you got it from, with your help I purchased something similar for my Jake, We spent a month touring in our caravan and he thoroughly enjoyed the buggy as he couldn't walk far. He had a wonderful last month enjoying the outdoors but unfortunately succumbed shortly after getting back home, he too was 15 and a half years old, the year before, his brother slowly slipped away, looking up into the trees, birds singing, sun shining through the branches and soft breeze swirling leaves around, Hearing that Dozer was similar In his passing is when I cried, You've been a great inspiration for me, Thank you from my heart ❤

Take this festive season to come to terms with your grieving and let the dust settle , so-to-speak. I hope you have a fabulous Christmas and a prosperous new year. I look forward to you sharing your plans for 2025 when you come back with your happy smiling faces once again, and to share your passion for the Great Outdoors. Hi guys it’s heartbraking losing a pet we lost 2 dogs to cancer a few years ago and each time it left a void that we thought could never be filled. We still went out for walks but without our dog something didn’t seem quite right , it then appeared that everyone we came across had a dog !
So after our wounds healed we got another dog and after a short while the void was filled. We’ve had our boy now for 6 years and every day is filled with happiness, he comes away with us in the caravan and loves to have a paddle in the sea,we get so much enjoyment out of just being with him, I know its early days for you but once your out of grief get yourselves another bundle of love and joy and I promise that the pit in your stomachs will soon disappear!
All the very best to you both for Christmas and the coming new year. ❤❤

I must have missed your last video and i had no idea. I am so sorry for your loss, they really are a huge part of our family and just as devastating as losing a human member of the family. Dozer had the kindest face and the best owners who adjusted their lives to make his all the better. I really do feel your pain.
We have just had a wonderful trip to Clippesby Hall in Norfolk, absolutely stunning site with fantastic amenities and lots to see and do in the surrounding area. I highly recommended you check it out, we plan to go back and experience it in the summer.

Bless you both. Totally in bits here. You truly touched our hearts with the gentle love and care you showed your Dozer during his twilight years. We lost our beloved Bailey (tiny boss yorkie) this year and have Oscar (Yorkie) and Annie (cocker Spaniel) who are now reaching their own autumn years, so we felt every word that you said tonight and share your tears. You are truly genuine and kind people that we really hope to hear from again, but understand that you need to find your way. We can only wish you all our love and will patiently wait to hopefully see you again. Love Graham, Suzi, Annie and Oscar. xx

Hey guys. Massive kudos to you both for doing that video. It’s not easy. I still expect to see my cat following me around as we list her the same time you lost dozer. Do the content when you feel ready not because you feel you have to. End of the day it’s only you tube. It will get better and you learn to adjust and you see these new wonderful places differently. As for ideas I’d love to see you go into France and Germany. Lots of great places. Wishing you a happy Christmas and New Year. Looking forward to watching in the future. 🐶💔

We’ve enjoyed your videos for some time now, particularly as we started following you for exactly the same reasons - we want to travel and we want to do it with our two little dogs. 🐕
We’re so sorry for you that you’ve lost Dozer and we can’t imagine what that must feel like.
Grief cries and life shines on - and hope paints a rainbow. 🌈
We have yet to acquire our caravan but hope to do so in 2025. We plan to explore the U.K. and north coast of France 🇫🇷 before going further afield.
So if it helps, you asked for ideas for next year - north France, Belgium etc. would be (selfishly!) great viewing for us.
Try to have a lovely Christmas. 🎄 Dozer would want you to be happy. 🙏🏻

So sorry to hear about Dozer. I understand how you are feeling right now but he will be forever by your side. We lost our beloved bulldog a couple of years ago who by the way very nearly got called bulldozer, believe me he really was one too. The only thing stopping us getting another canine family member is the thought of what you are going through now. I hope you learn to live with your loss and always remember your lives will always be filled with so many happy years with Dozer.

I commented on your last sad video... the thing is with the loss of a dog, it's not something that goes away. I don't think time is a healer, but time will allow you to adapt to a new way of life because everything is so different when they leave us. The only thing that helped me to get through it, was to take a puppy, even if we already had another dog. It lifted me, gave me joy again, but never eased the pain, but eased the emptiness. And this new puppy allowed me to do different things again.
But you have mentioned going abroad... not impossible but more difficult..
Thinking about the two of you, sending you loads of virtual hugs... take care.

Oh you have me in tears again, we've been there and know how much of a gap pets leave in our lives so really feel for you both.
Take your time deciding what you want to do but maybe take the opportunity to visit some places where dogs aren't allowed. How many times have we all had to take it in turns to go into a stately home or eat coffee and cake outside (in the rain)! It's what we all do for our pets. Hi Guys
It’s the worst thing in the world, I’m 6ft 5” 23 stone ex bouncer and had two Yorkshire terriers Ronnie & Reggie who I adored. I cried more over losing my dogs than I did over losing mum a dad.
That was 20 years ago now. But I’m getting worried again as I have a dog that’s 18 years old bless him and another Yorkshire terrier who is 13, so I’m dreading the day. Have you been to woodhall spa in Lincolnshire? You would love it. Some fantastic caravan sites like Petwood caravan park, jubilee park caravans site, plenty of things to do. I have lived here for 23 years it’s beautiful. Thanks for the videos
    Paul
