I didn’t understand for so long the reason for my brain fog and not being able to be present in conversation. Thank you for explaing I didn’t know trauma was the cause of this because I have been constantly in survival mode for half my life
I can’t wait to try this in the morning, everyone seems to have luck with this. I’m so tired of all this tension my body is holding causing me chronic pain
I tried many techniques, none of them worked. I did TRE for the first time with you, for the first time I felt my body shaking itself, for the 2nd time my head was shaking from side to side, I felt like I was in an exorcism, and today for the 3rd time I was shaking lighter, but I was crying so loudly and desperately, I didn't realize that I carry so much pain. Thank you so much!❤
I’m really glad it’s working for you! However, please slow down. You should not be allowing yourself to get dysregulated. I talk about this in the video. 🙏🏼
@@tinyyogini hello, I wonder if you could explain how you know when you are getting disregulated. What are the signs? Thank you for your beautiful video.
This worked for me 1st try and when I got done with the exercises, my leg would not stop shaking like crazy. I figured enough was enough, it’s time to take healing seriously. Thank you for this! ❤
I love this video! I am a cranialsacral and massage therapist for the last 26 years, as well as a yoga practitioner and TRE provider. We have a lot in common actually...trauma, scoliosis, chronic pain and I have had almost every modality there is... learned many along the way but I too found TRE to be most the effectic in releasing the deep muscles in the back and pelvis, It really has helped me with my chronic pain and regulating my nervous system. I love TRE.
@@TheStarseedHealingEra If you follow the exercises in the above video and allow your self to tremor, it will help with releasing the contractions of the muscles, brain patterns or emotions that could be causing the chronic pain. Dont give up. IF YOU NEED HELP, Look for a certified provider on the traumaprevention.com website. Most of us have other credentials to assist with your journey.
Thank you for this. I have been thinking about this for a while but tried properly for the first time yesterday using your video. Had a profound experience (like fish to water too) and today’s session was amazing. Amazing isn’t even the right word!! My whole body was in violent tremors and the cry that came out of me was not a cry I have ever made before. It’s sound was so raw and painful and yet I had this amazing feeling of calm- like my brain just wholly allowed my body to lead and do what it needed to do. Such a gift! I can’t wait to do it again. The peace afterwards is incredible. Thanks for the way you lead us through this.
I’ve found this video so useful - most I’ve found are skipping over the exercises quickly, missing some altogether - this is the first video I’ve found that actually helped me find the tremor. I’ve been doing it almost daily for a fortnight and I feel better already. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for this video! I felt a lot of trauma being released from my body and I felt really safe in my body for maybe the first time ever, that's really important to me as it's something I've struggled with my whole life. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, I will definitely be using this technique a lot xxx
When I started tremoring, I laughed hysterically which I already know is my body's way of beginning to relax before I can cry. What an interesting method and you have such a warm way of guiding. Thank you.
That's some scary ass shit right there. I was just recommended these exercises by my therapist and the videos alone just terrify me, let alone the possibility of crying or laughing uncontrollably, what is this charlatanism? Not trying this myself
@@___Laura5 If you think its scary to have emotions (laughing, crying) or to lose control, this is probably the best work you can do for yourself lol 😆
@@___Laura5 I tried this for the first time yesterday, it was a weird feeling, but I just let it happen and trust the body. I did it for like 7 minutes, then stopped. Nothing bad happened. I had no feelings, it might come after practicing for few times I guess
started this for the first time last week and the week before. third time trying this morning and i must say: *the most* I've tremored! i said to myself, "whoaa" as if i was on a rollercoaster that''s ricketing and shaking uphill before the drop lol ... i love that I've found this exercise in tandem with somatic yoga, kriya, hatha, and bhakti. thank you so much! i believe the pre-exercises helped a lot.
Thank you!!! I have been “sick” for 4 years and have really gone inward. Now it’s time to balance the body and you are so sweet, sincere and the light shines through. I do believe finding you was not a coincidence. This is next phase of healing and I will look to you for guidance in this area. Namaste 💜
Oh my! First timing watching & went through all thr steps with you, pausing at times; and started tremoring head to toe. Felt the frontal area of my brain tingling and I’m so astounded and so very grateful. I feel so relaxed 🙏🙏🙏
I did TRE for a while and am coming back to this. Your explanations were so helpful and your self talk was really inspiring to me. Thank you for providing this gift.
Thank you for this video. I was skeptical that I wouldn’t tremor at first. But after the last exercise.. my legs were shaking like crazy. I will continue to do this. I have a lot of trauma to release and this was a great way to connect with my body. Thank you 🙏🏾
I found that having a good cry beforehand really helps with letting go and with regulation afterwards especially if there are a lot of repressed emotions and trauma.
This was my first time trying this and thought it wouldn't work. I trembled throughout my whole body and felt so much warmth. I then started sobbing and laughing right after. Thank you so much!! ❤
This video was brilliant. I've saved it to watch and do later when I have time alone. I figured out through journaling and really feeling the emotions that come up that my body was automatically drawn to convulsing and tremoring like this, so doing more research led me to TRE. I think i'm finally ready to 'go there' now. I bought the 'Trauma Releasing Exercises' book to read too. Thank you.
I've been taking care of my 92 year old father in law for a couple of years. He has end dementia and I have been experiencing sooooo much stress build up. I started trembling all over! Will continue with this until I dont feel like I am going to burst into tears when someone just looks at me. YOU are a God send!
Thank GOD and you that an actual video actually showing the actual practices was actually made for the love of sweet daddy Jesus!!! With that said, I had tremors and I let them go for up to 20 minutes and I immediately felt much better! This is the real deal! Thank you!
Suffering from trauma with ptsd and it’s been a long hard way. Now, i’m in healing with therapist and a deep inner journey. Since i’m used with exercising like yoga and so I have faith in my body. All of a sudden, during my meditation, my body started to shake just like this! I was like…WHAT?!! is this?!Then, after this happened, I started to google and found out about the TRE. Amazing! My body just told me by it self; it’s time. You’re ready. Let’s go. I’m still so new to this and I think I have to go slow cause my body goes WILD and that is kind of excausting from time to time 😅. Thanx for sharing. That means this is so okey and so good!
Wonderful to hear! Take your time with this practice. Follow the recommended guidelines for practice (in the video) and you’ll be fine. I love this practice. It’s one of my favorite tools. 🙏🏼
That's just amazing.... I felt it the first time.. I'm feeling peaceful now 😊 Thank you so much And the best part was your smile and laugh.. I really felt easy and fun
Wow! It felt like I had pressed a button on my lower spine and a massage bed has begun vibrating, or like a volcano had erupted. I couldn't go too long because it felt like so much to process, but I feel myself ready to let go of the past and to learn how to integrate it, so I can truly move forward. Thank you.
I just tried this for the first time, and it immediately reminded me of when I was giving birth to my daughter 23 years ago… I was awake for the caesarean section because I’d had an epidural, and my arms were shaking and convulsing the whole time I was under the knife. I realize now that it was my body dealing with the trauma of that experience, I’d always wondered what that was about Thank you for this, the rush of well being I felt after I finally stopped tremoring was unreal. I finally feel like I have a concrete weapon to use against my chronic stress and tension headaches ❤️
you just saved my night💖 i broke down yesterday, my narcissistic ex caused a trauma 2 weeks ago. i hope I'll get therapy soon, i got appointmens but i took two days off and I've been lying in bed depresso. after shaking (also in my upper body!) I'm feeling relieved and more positive overall. you are a treasure. also the way you talk is very warm. i will do this everyday.
I have trauma from a narcissistic relationship in the past too. I'm 7 months no contact and I'm still healing so, I needed this and had been wondering about TRE. I loved it. 😊 Happy Healing to Us.
Hello Spira, first thank you for sharing this video on TRE. I had heard about this a few years ago and thought then this looks helpful. being a lifelong suffere of childhood trauma Ihave tried a lot of things. Presently in quite a dark place. I remembered this practice from a while ago. so found your video and thought to give ita try. so the tremors started in the legs and rose up into my body like kicks and spasms, I found my heard arched back and I was breathing through my mouth my left arm and has were moving too. I found it went in waves and in my legs there were times they all vibrated together, it felt wonderful when that happened. Then it move into my body and my head was flicking as well.maybe ran for around 20 mins and I just felt it subside. I let my legs down and just stayed with it all for a while. Quite something. will have a nother session in a few days. Thank you
Just did this. I was trying to follow you step by step, but maybe I should've watched the whole video before trying it. But it worked. I stopped the video when you did the tremor, and just sat back and waited it out. It began. It felt so weird at first. I have been close to astral projection before, and the sensation was the exact same, just before it happens. Although with astral projection that feeling was in my head/eyes, and this was in my legs. My feet became suuuper sensitive, and the feeling of my blanket beneath me literally pushed some nerves and make me almost taste (?) it? I cried a bit. My legs went up, and it got wild and I heard a voice being like "yeah you're not done" so i kept going for a minute. I forgot to do the resting thing, but I'll come back and try it im my own speed tomorrow. Thank you.
Thank you! The first TRE video I watched made me think I was supposed to keep my hips up during the tremoring and I was confused about how I was supposed to hold that for 20 minutes, so this was very helpful!
I love doing your TRE because of your bubbly personality and I release stress just while listening to you. I have done a day course at a functional dr many years ago and forgot how important this release every couple of days could be. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. Love to you from South Africa. 🥰
I freaking love you! Thanks for this! It was such a joy to perform the exercises with you! I appreciated the light-heartedness and the instructions were clear and easy to follow! I used TRE two years ago for the first time and after each session I could track my resting heart rate lowering, and my HRV increasing, following one session - indicating it recovered well and was in less of a stressful state. I'm eager to feel the results and I can tell you I will come back to this video for sure!
Wow I just discovered this today. I have been through some crazy trauma this past year, just went through divorce, moved & flared up with herniated discs in the neck & arm radiculopathy as you describe. I was semi-bedridden for a while unable to function due to the pain & stuck in my body to process the divorce. Panic & anxiety through the roof. Have constant trembling or tremors from anxiety now & can’t watch any news from the PTSD of it all. Had to go on meds!! My brain is getting better but still in a funk. I finally was able to do an hour of yoga today & noticed I was super shaky & just accepted it. Then I discovered TRE & tried it. Loved it. In place of actual workouts, this may be the thing to help me move past the incredible dread & fear that takes over me daily. I know there is a lot of old trauma behind all of that fear as I continue to be living in much of it. If you have any other wisdom about this process, would love to hear. P.s. I am also a yoga teacher & Zumba instructor, have danced & moved since I was a kid. Never experienced something like this in my life!! I haven’t had whiplash or been in an accident, but have had other things happen to my head/neck that have contributed. But I’m trying to take my knowledge to apply it to new modalities like this . It devastated me to think I may not be able to workout like I used to if the neck & pain issues persist. The pain is now down to a 0-1 but the tingles in the arms come & go with my desk job or as stress comes up. Same with the spasms or pulsating sensations. It’s not searing nerve pain anymore, thank god!! What’s your main job now? I’m glad to hear you’re able to manage your symptoms.
Hi Ali!! Thank you soooo much for sharing your story. I’m always amazed to hear about the commonalities that survivors share. Would you mind if I make a video addressing this and read your comment aloud? I really think other survivors would benefit. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!! I've been in chronic pain since 30yrs as well and came across tre only 10 days ago, been watching a lot on yt and exercising along...it is mindblowing!!! I feel there is hope! 🙏🙏
Thank you so much for this video. TRE recently has been coming up on my feed. I have been on a healing journey last 5 years and the cptsd is more manageable. I followed your exercises and did it third time today. My body was relaxed and the tremors travelled up my legs and hips. My shoulders and neck were shaking side to side and sometimes chest. Neck and shoulder pain has been ongoing for over a year. It's feeling much looser. Looking forward to practicing this more over the month. Thank you again 🙏🏽❤️
This video has been a massive eye opener for me. In a good way. I’ve had years of trauma relating mainly to emotional from youth, different surgery’s, divorce and financial traumas. I’ve always been aware that trauma is stored but incredible to see how the body can react when doing this shaking type release. Life for me is fine now and it seems my body wants to start its release process so I’ve been dealing with neck, face and facial pain for 3 months. I did this once and feel a difference. Can I do this daily or is it best to give days in between? Thank you for doing this.
I just saw a tik tok about this and decided to check TH-cam for any free exercises and found this video. Did every step and felt the tremors and immediately tears following down my face. I’ve been holding in a lot of stuff that’s been going on the past few months so this was nice to finally let it all out after being on auto pilot for so long. Thank you so much for giving us this knowledge and sharing. I will definitely consider a private session with you.
it's incredible! after three times I can more easily remember the things I couldn't bring up from months in therapy. I hope it will continue like this in the future and will finally allow me to free myself from repressed memories. it's really phenomenal. even doing the exercise for the second time I was able to extend tremors on my chest and arms as well. even on the neck and facial muscles. I've also noticed that it works better after the gym. it was like the body itself have known what to do, how to help itself, and where exactly. i just let it go on! it's absolutely fascinating. it helped me to release some emotions too. thank you very very much
Hello! Huge Huge thank you for this video! Funny thing is, when I was in a truly miserable state few years ago, laying in my bed, my body just started trembling and i was like...wtf was that? Then i learned about TRE, that it is A THING, made a few sessions, and forgot about it. I had a challenging year and I feel so much tension in my body, especially upper back and hips, i decided to try TRE once more, after this exercise i feel little bit lighter, and was stunned how much I trembled :O So, this is the best guided TRE session i came across, and also, loved your personality. Thank you!!
Oh, yay!! You’re so welcome!! I’m glad it’s helpful. I looooove it. I still tremor a few times a week. It keeps my muscle tension at bay quite well. Even more than yoga!
Thank you so much for sharing especially that you were living in survival mode for years. I can relate and it helps to know you’re not alone. Appreciate your help.
Thank you so much for putting this up. Really clear instructions! I did my first TRE session with a therapist but this is really wonderful for follow up at home❤
Wow the sheer intensity of the tremors freaked me out, but I just put on music and let it go. I was hesitant to try at first but I am noticing the tremors can be very smooth and rhythmic or jerky and chaotic, sometimes traveling up or enveloping both upper and lower body. This is my very first experience, very exciting to have a new potential release for my chronic pain and tension, Thank you so much this is great
Wow I didnt think I would shake but my whole body shook. I found that I would shake more if I kept my feet together, but it was my 1st time, felt bit exhausted after it but hopefully will get used to it thankyou for the video 🥰
My body took to it like a fish in water too! I’m so happy i’ve discovered this, and your video made me even more excited! I just started yesterday and it was only in my legs, today I got a little torso and little shoulder/neck action (which was so exciting)! Can’t wait to experience the arm/hand dances! 🙏❣️
This is great, thanks for the walkthrough! I tried following someone else's video but I didn't tremor, maybe I wasn't fatigued enough, but this worked!
Thank you for this wonderful explanation and demonstration of TRE. A great tool to show my patients with drug induced traumatich experiences. KInd regards, Gerard A, physician in addiction medicine
Oh, I'm so glad to hear this! Addiction and trauma often go hand in hand and I believe this would be effective in trauma survivors struggling with addiction. Thank you for doing such great work! 🙏🏼
Wonderful!! It really helps me when I get worked up, too...whenever I feel "off" I immediately get on my mat and feel better. That's all I can wish for you, too. Blessings. 🙏🏼
wow..very good. i practice feldenkrais method and i went straight to the last position and started shaking. was so great. still feeling my system doing something. thanks so much. was really helpfull
Thanks so much for this - I’ve tried to do TRE a few times before but it hasn’t worked and I ended up frustrated - the comment about the head getting in the way was really helpful. I finally shook it off! Good luck on your journey xx
Just WOW...i am so happy and grateful to stumble upon this exercise and most especially you❤..you gave me tears at the end with your kind words..thank you🙏
Thank you for creating this video. I had done some TRE practices in the past on my own. I tried once more with your explanation and it was very helpful. But I'm really missing and can't find any video on youtube, that is a full session video. Basically similar to the Vinyasa or Yin or any other yoga exercise video that you start practicing with it from the beginning to end and you don't have to pause/resume the video and takes your from the beginning to the end of the journey. I know the TRE session length and quality can be variable person by person, but there might be some videos for like 15/30/45 mins long for each person to choose from. Thanks again!!
Hi Farzad! As you mentioned, the TRE session varies in length according to each individual. It's not an exercise class. It's a trauma healing modality. There is no way to predict how long it will take for someone's calf muscles to fatigue to a level 7. There is no number. That's why it can't be done as a structured activity, like a yoga class. In addition, the tremoring itself can't be timed because each person needs to be able to monitor themselves for any emotional triggers or activation. I recommend working directly with a provider if it's not working for you to use the videos. Best of luck on your healing journey!
Yasssss!!! I loved it... iam a big girl and my whole body was trimblening... afterwards i got a energie boost...thank you so much...lovelovelove💚💚💚💚💚💚💥
I got it to work first try and even turned to lie on my belly and my whole body started to tremble and I felt really good and laughed out loud! I was there for at least half an hour, enjoying every minute.
Thank you Spira, I lost my dog and came across a thread on a forum discussing TRE. Came across your video and your guidance was amazing. My uncle is a life coach that specializes in guided mindfulness meditation. This is an amazingly similar process to some of his teachings - I will share this with him tonight. God bless you Spira.
Thank you very much for the video. It's very useful. I am new to the whole trauma therapy and I only found out obout TRE because of you, thanks again! So, I only started today. In my case I didn't temble much this afternoon, but I also tried this morning and I did so. So I will keep doing it everyday and I will let you know!
Take is slow! TRE can also be activating, so go slow and monitor yourself. If you feel anything come up, stop and take a break. Make sure you keep grounding throughout. :)
first time trying it and definitely got tremors! not like you though it was more of a shaking in cold type of movement. I loved it, it was very funny and had me giggling. I kinda still had control over my legs i wasn’t able to just completely shut them off and let them do their thing, but it wouldn’t fight the tremors i would just let them happen. Only my legs moved nothing in my upper body but im sure that will come as i practice this more and more. But yeah i feel very good right now, and i feel happy. The trauma i suffered was losing my mom at the age of 10 and living without her, with a new family that i really didn’t trust or know and recently i’ve been very sad and crying about my mom. So i’m tired of trying not to think of it, or being in this defensive mode 24/7 and being mean/defensive to people for absolutely no reason and i just want to stop all of that. Thank you!!♥️
Oh, wow...thank you so much for sharing and being vulnerable. I'm honored. And I'm so sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking. I'm so glad you're finding this helpful. Laughing is a wonderful release of energy. I hope you continue to practice and receive emotional benefits. BIG HUGS!!! ❤️
I just finished my first session. One week ago I didn't even know this thing existed and now look at me trembling and shaking ! It started heavily in the legs, lasted for about 5-10 minutes then I felt it in my hips. At that point my legs stopped and my torso, left arm and neck started moving until they stopped on their own. I lost track of time but I think it lasted about 20 minutes total. I will be doing TRE every day from now on to see what happens ! Thank you very much for this video 🙏
Thanks. I couldn’t tremor with bent knees but when I straightened my legs they made tremors for a long time. I watched another video and it was different but worked too. Thanks ❤
This was intense! It was a first time I tried and I was wondering if I could let go and trust my body. At first it was the legs and hips tremoring and I could feel I was somehow in the way and I had to start it a few times before I was able to let go. Listening to the video helped, "trust your body" and I did. My upper body started to tremor and suddenly my head was flipping from side to side with a fast pace. My mouth was open and my lips and cheecks were flapping. I don't think I could have moved my head from side to side with such a pace. This continued for a while and then suddenly stopped and I was panting. At some point I was wondering, where this is going and yet I was far from freaking out. If someone else saw it, he would have thought I'm having some king of seizure for sure. I rested for a while afterwards, but can't say if I feel relaxed or anything. But I trust that what ever it was, it was good for me, even if I can't feel an immediate change. Based on the vigor and speed of my headshakes, I figure I really needed this.
Wow! Amazing!! I’ve had the same exact experience, especially in the beginning. Do you have any neck issues? I have disk degeneration and the head flips, though weird at first, really helped with the chronic pain! I’m so glad you shared this. Thanks!
Wim Hof's technique comes from Tibetan tummo but I don't think he needs to cite his source every time. His technique is a variant, that's all. There is a whole history of skin diving that Stig can call on which uses similar techniques from a wide range of cultures. If memory serves even Genghis Khan's troops were using breath techniques as a pain reliever and courage inducer. If you like you Wim Hof/Tummo style then its definitely worth looking into both as the techniques are complentary but applied in very different ways.
Sending love to you! Just heard you say how you were in survival mode for years. And I so relate. I’ve been on this journey, and gradually chizzling away… fascia maneuvers have helped and I am planning to explore TRE but having difficulties getting the tremors. If you see this I would love to hire you for a video call for TRE.
Good on you! This is hard work and I applaud your efforts! It definitely gets easier and once you lock in on the momentum of feeling better, it’s all downhill from there. I do offer online sessions. My website is www.embodyschool.com You can book directly through the website. 🙏🏼
I love this! I've done this twice now and feel more relaxed after a session than I ever have in my LIFE. I love sitting through the tremors. Do you think it's normal to feel heat or a burning sensation during it? Thank you for this incredible information! It's hard to find much online 💕
Thank you so much for this! I had a problem with my left psoas since August last year and I just finished following your guidance in this video. My body shook so hard and I felt so much lighter now. Thank you so much for this video! I'm wondering whether it's okay for us to stop the shaking even though our body still wants to do it?
Yesteraday I heard about TRE, today found you. My first try and it worked, I couldnt believe it! My body trembled like crazy. I am suffering from pain all over my body for a couple of years.... How many times a week can I train TRE? Thnank you...❤
It's amazing !! Wow all my body shakes especially my head and my shoulders like if I want to run away, took me to the trauma scene while my body wanted to run "reminding me of freezing mode" but I don't know if I'm doing it consciously or it's just the body is doing this unconsciously, felt bit confusing but I was proud of my body, like wow finally it's going out, shaking can be consciously made or it was an illusion ?
It’s not a illusion. It’s normal for this to happen. Keep your eyes open during your practice. And go slow, maybe shorter sessions. If it feels safe for you to tremor through that memory, go for it.
Glad I found your video! I’ve been dealing with chronic pain from whiplash, mild scoliosis and CPTSD too. How frequently and for how long did you do TRE before you noticed a reduction in your pain?
Hi! Thankyou for this video - I didn't know I could ever cry the way I did while doing this. I'm hardly 20 and i think i can call myself a trauma survivor. Things started when I was 16 and since then I have gained around 15 kgs unreasonably. I tried everything, even starving to bring my weight down but it won't just happen. I read about TRE and I am going to continue doing this. Would you suggest I do something more to bring my weight down or just continue with this alone?
I hesitate to advise you on this as I'm not a medical professional. However, as a fellow survivor, I encourage you to be gentle with yourself and not worry too much about your weight right now as you're doing your healing work. Perhaps use this practice to develop a closer relationship with your body. Allow this practice to help you love your body and be amazed by what it can do! Over time, when your nervous system becomes regulated, your body will stop pumping out so much cortisol which is the hormone that causes weight gain. I can't guarantee it, but there's a good chance your weight will balance itself out. Even if it doesn't, it's better to stay regulated before adding more exercise to speed up your metabolism. I hope you find this helpful. xoxo 🙏🏼
Thank you for this! I have done a lot of healing from my CPTSD through central channel breathing and chakra work, but some of the more recent traumas still surge up and hijack my nervous system and I find myself ruminating in resentment. Its very difficult to re-align myself into a state of compassion and I feel like I’m drowning in hatred and rage. I believe this is stuck in my body because I still get random aches in my chest sometimes and Ive developed chronic lower back pain. Can TRE help with releasing these specific emotions? I look forward to trying it!
Thanks for your question! TRE works with the nervous system. It doesn’t identify specific emotions but releases what the body needs to be released. It helped my chronic pain stop being chronic. 😁
Hi, Im quite connected and aware ofnky body as a dancer and mover but I've tried TRE few times, also with you and I didn't notice my body shaking. I wonder what could be the reason? Did otehr peoole experience that?
Brilliant ! the first video that shows how to get into the muscle stress state , every other TRE goes straight into the TRE . Oh yeh some great words of wisdom about before ,during and after x
I think your video is very good and a suggestion I have is just explain the exercise and move along instead of so much personal experience. I think it’s good to know your personal experience, but we can look at the video about that if you post one to where you explain all that but when you’re doing the actual exercise with someone who is trying to release trauma, I think it would be more beneficial if you just got right into the how to do it part. Because as you know because you’ve been there, people that are experiencing pent-up pain or emotions, whatever needs to be released we just want to get right in and release it. Thank you for your work 🌸🙏🏼💖bless you.
Thank you for sharing. I liked your way of explaining. But I thought that this method TRE is for releasing the trauma forever. So i wonder why your shoulder pain shows up like every 2 days??
Hi Amani! As far as we know, there is no cure for trauma. TRE and other somatic modalities can help a lot with symptoms and help us to function better. However, we live in a world where there will always be stress and tension. The key is to release it regularly so it doesn’t cause more damage. As far as my physical pain is concerned, I have rotator cuff tendinitis, cervical disk degeneration, myofascial pain syndrome, and scoliosis. TRE is not a “cure” for these things but it really helps keep the pain and inflammation at bay by reducing the tension that exacerbates these symptoms. I hope this helps!
I didn’t understand for so long the reason for my brain fog and not being able to be present in conversation. Thank you for explaing I didn’t know trauma was the cause of this because I have been constantly in survival mode for half my life
I hear you! I’m so glad you found this useful.
Someone on reddit linked this video for trauma release and i'm so happy I clicked on it. This was an incredible experience, thank you so much!
You’re welcome!! I’m happy to hear it!
I started shaking so hard after a while that it felt like an exorcism. So liberating. I can’t thank you enough…
That's great!! Thank you for sharing. I've definitely had a few sessions that felt like this. lol
Me too ! I was laughing uncontrollably while l thrashed about.
Same!!
The feeling of surrendering and trusting your own body is just immense
Agreed!!!! It’s a big part of the healing process. 🙏🏼
This was the most bizarre feeling I’ve ever had! I was in hysterics at one point, no control over my body. Thank you for posting!
Great! Just remember to go slow.
This was the weirdest and most liberating experience I've ever had! Amazing
I said the exact same thing my first time. 😂😂
I can’t wait to try this in the morning, everyone seems to have luck with this. I’m so tired of all this tension my body is holding causing me chronic pain
Wonderful! It’s really done wonders for my chronic pain. No more daily spasms. ☺️
Omg I was skeptical about this and I started trembling and crying, my whole body, thanks 🙏
Wow, wonderful! Go slow...we've waited this long so be patient. :) I still do this every couple of days. It literally keeps me sane. :)
Can we do this without an instructor?
SAME! So skeptical and then it was amazing
This worked for me 1st try and when I got done with the exercises, my leg would not stop shaking like crazy. I figured enough was enough, it’s time to take healing seriously. Thank you for this! ❤
You’re welcome! Make sure you watch the part about stopping the tremoring.
I love TRE.
Yes!! Thank you for posting this! ❤️🙏🏼
Where can one find videos of releasing chronic pain 😭
@@TheStarseedHealingEra If you follow the exercises in the above video and allow your self to tremor, it will help with releasing the contractions of the muscles, brain patterns or emotions that could be causing the chronic pain. Dont give up. IF YOU NEED HELP, Look for a certified provider on the traumaprevention.com website. Most of us have other credentials to assist with your journey.
@@TheStarseedHealingEra This is the video. It took about 2 months for my chronic pain to subside but after 30 years of it, it was worth the wait.
Wonderful! I'm so happy to hear this. Remember to take your time and leave at least 24 hrs between sessions. :)
I’ve found this video so useful - most I’ve found are skipping over the exercises quickly, missing some altogether - this is the first video I’ve found that actually helped me find the tremor. I’ve been doing it almost daily for a fortnight and I feel better already. Thank you 🙏🏻
Yay!! I'm so glad I could help. 😊
Thank you so much for this video! I felt a lot of trauma being released from my body and I felt really safe in my body for maybe the first time ever, that's really important to me as it's something I've struggled with my whole life. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, I will definitely be using this technique a lot xxx
Wonderful news!! I’m so happy it works for you. 🙏🏼
Agreed to that..felt safe and happy for the first time in a long feckin time
When I started tremoring, I laughed hysterically which I already know is my body's way of beginning to relax before I can cry.
@@nadiabetkouchar8066 It's normal to laugh and cry when it happens naturally. Not forcing it out with some voodoo lol
@@xCarbonBlack I tried it multiple times, didn't work at all
started this for the first time last week and the week before. third time trying this morning and i must say: *the most* I've tremored! i said to myself, "whoaa" as if i was on a rollercoaster that''s ricketing and shaking uphill before the drop lol ... i love that I've found this exercise in tandem with somatic yoga, kriya, hatha, and bhakti. thank you so much! i believe the pre-exercises helped a lot.
You're welcome! I'm glad you find it useful. :)
Thank you!!! I have been “sick” for 4 years and have really gone inward. Now it’s time to balance the body and you are so sweet, sincere and the light shines through. I do believe finding you was not a coincidence. This is next phase of healing and I will look to you for guidance in this area. Namaste 💜
Thank you for your kind words! I hope my work will be useful to you. 🙏🏼
Oh my! First timing watching & went through all thr steps with you, pausing at times; and started tremoring head to toe. Felt the frontal area of my brain tingling and I’m so astounded and so very grateful. I feel so relaxed 🙏🙏🙏
Wow, that sounds amazing! I'm so happy you're enjoying it. 😊
I did TRE for a while and am coming back to this. Your explanations were so helpful and your self talk was really inspiring to me. Thank you for providing this gift.
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
wow its an amazing experienced . 😢😢😢 i cried and let my body shake naturally. i felt a newborn. Happy and content😇😇😇🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thanks so much for sharing.
You’re welcome!!
Thank you for this video. I was skeptical that I wouldn’t tremor at first. But after the last exercise.. my legs were shaking like crazy. I will continue to do this. I have a lot of trauma to release and this was a great way to connect with my body. Thank you 🙏🏾
Great to hear! Remember to take it slow.
I’ve had a days long panic attack and this video helped me so much. Mother Mary was cheering us both on the whole way! Thank you so much
Oh, wow, I’m so glad to hear this!! Thank you for sharing it with me. It’s why I make the videos. 🙏🏼
Check your vitamin D level
I watch this often and love it! I shake like crazy in the lower half and hope my upper half starts soon. Thank you for making this video ❤
I found that having a good cry beforehand really helps with letting go and with regulation afterwards especially if there are a lot of repressed emotions and trauma.
Thank you for sharing!
This was my first experience and WOW!!! i didn't think my body would do it and it was amazing!! So grateful for this, thank you.
I'm so glad to hear it! Yes, I think it's pretty amazing, too. :)
This was my first time trying this and thought it wouldn't work. I trembled throughout my whole body and felt so much warmth. I then started sobbing and laughing right after. Thank you so much!! ❤
You’re welcome!! This is why I made the video. For YOU and others like us. ❤️
Thank you.
You’re welcome! Let us know how it goes!!
I've been taking care of my 92 year old father in law for a couple of years. He has end dementia and I have been experiencing sooooo much stress build up. I started trembling all over! Will continue with this until I dont feel like I am going to burst into tears when someone just looks at me. YOU are a God send!
Wow, Marie, that's a lot. I'm so glad you're trying to find ways to care for yourself. I hope this helps you. It helps me a lot! ❤️🙏🏼
Thank GOD and you that an actual video actually showing the actual practices was actually made for the love of sweet daddy Jesus!!!
With that said, I had tremors and I let them go for up to 20 minutes and I immediately felt much better!
This is the real deal!
Thank you!
Awesome!
I'm feeling peaceful now 😊
Thank you so much
And the best part was your smile and laugh.. I really felt easy and fun
Thank for your kind words. I'm so happy this worked for you. :)
Wow! It felt like I had pressed a button on my lower spine and a massage bed has begun vibrating, or like a volcano had erupted. I couldn't go too long because it felt like so much to process, but I feel myself ready to let go of the past and to learn how to integrate it, so I can truly move forward. Thank you.
I’m glad you listened to your body and stopped when it felt right. This is the way! Take your time.
I just tried this for the first time, and it immediately reminded me of when I was giving birth to my daughter 23 years ago… I was awake for the caesarean section because I’d had an epidural, and my arms were shaking and convulsing the whole time I was under the knife. I realize now that it was my body dealing with the trauma of that experience, I’d always wondered what that was about
Thank you for this, the rush of well being I felt after I finally stopped tremoring was unreal. I finally feel like I have a concrete weapon to use against my chronic stress and tension headaches ❤️
Wonderful to hear! Thank you for sharing! 🙏🏼
you just saved my night💖 i broke down yesterday, my narcissistic ex caused a trauma 2 weeks ago. i hope I'll get therapy soon, i got appointmens but i took two days off and I've been lying in bed depresso. after shaking (also in my upper body!) I'm feeling relieved and more positive overall.
you are a treasure. also the way you talk is very warm. i will do this everyday.
I’m so happy to hear this. ❤️ I hope you find an awesome therapist!
Thank you
Wonderful! I'm sorry to hear you're struggling. It's a hard place to be but I hope the TRE will help.
Thank you.
That's great, Sofie! Thanks for sharing. Yes, the tremors can sometimes get wild. lol It's quite different for everyone.
OMG, that's sooooo sweet! Thanks so much for the love. Right back at you!
Again back after 2 years being so busy and not releasing enough stress I am back after my body warned me...thanks girl!
Mattias!!! Thank you so much for your feedback! It makes me so happy to know it’s helping you. I hope others will benefit from your comment. 😊
Wow. First time. My body moved 50 minutes, felt great after. Unbelievable. Thank you! Will try again tomorrow. Greetings from Norway.
Take it slow! 50 minutes is a lot for the first time. 15 is recommended. How did you feel the next day?
Going for my first class tonight and now I feel super comfortable about it. Thank you. So excited.
Awesome!! Enjoy!
This was the best feeling ever ..thank you so much
You’re welcome!!
Thank you so much. I will start to practice it. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you sooooo much! This was my first time and I did it, wonderful !
Great! So glad to hear it!
Thank you so much!! I've been in chronic pain since 30yrs as well and came across tre only 10 days ago, been watching a lot on yt and exercising along...it is mindblowing!!! I feel there is hope! 🙏🙏
How wonderful to hear!! I'm so glad it's helping!
Also, check out "Healing Back Pain" by John Sarno, audiobook on TH-cam (it's for all chronic pain, actually). Cured my chronic pain 3 years ago.
I hope you didn’t mean third time in one day. You should only be tremoring 3x a week.
Only in a week thank you
When 😂😂
This video has been a massive eye opener for me.
Awesome to hear! As I said in the video, it’s best not to do it every day. 2-3x a week.
Fabulous!! I'm here for you if you'd like more guidance. :)
it's incredible! after three times I can more easily remember the things I couldn't bring up from months in therapy. I hope it will continue like this in the future and will finally allow me to free myself from repressed memories. it's really phenomenal. even doing the exercise for the second time I was able to extend tremors on my chest and arms as well. even on the neck and facial muscles. I've also noticed that it works better after the gym. it was like the body itself have known what to do, how to help itself, and where exactly. i just let it go on! it's absolutely fascinating. it helped me to release some emotions too. thank you very very much
Wonderful!!! I’m so happy to hear this. I agree with you about how fascinating it is. Always approach with curiosity. Blessings to you!
I’m so glad to hear it. ❤️ That’s why I do this.
Thank you so much for putting this up. Really clear instructions! I did my first TRE session with a therapist but this is really wonderful for follow up at home❤
Awesome! Glad I could be of help!
Wow the sheer intensity of the tremors freaked me out, but I just put on music and let it go. I was hesitant to try at first but I am noticing the tremors can be very smooth and rhythmic or jerky and chaotic, sometimes traveling up or enveloping both upper and lower body. This is my very first experience, very exciting to have a new potential release for my chronic pain and tension, Thank you so much this is great
I’m so glad it worked for you! Take your time with it.
Wow I didnt think I would shake but my whole body shook. I found that I would shake more if I kept my feet together, but it was my 1st time, felt bit exhausted after it but hopefully will get used to it thankyou for the video 🥰
Great to hear! It can be tiring. Start slow with less time tremoring and leaving a day or two in between sessions. Give your body time to adjust. :)
@tinyyogini Thanks for your reply. Yes will do thankyou 🥰
Omg my first time trembling and feels like my body needed this ♡ thank you ♡ best experience
Awesome!! So glad it's working for you!
My body took to it like a fish in water too! I’m so happy i’ve discovered this, and your video made me even more excited! I just started yesterday and it was only in my legs, today I got a little torso and little shoulder/neck action (which was so exciting)! Can’t wait to experience the arm/hand dances! 🙏❣️
Wonderful! Start slow, just a few times a week.
This was amazing. Thank you 🙏🌸❤️
You’re welcome!
This is great, thanks for the walkthrough! I tried following someone else's video but I didn't tremor, maybe I wasn't fatigued enough, but this worked!
You just told my story and I’m 60.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear this! Addiction and trauma often go hand in hand and I believe this would be effective in trauma survivors struggling with addiction. Thank you for doing such great work! 🙏🏼
@@tinyyogini thank you too!♡ I have just started referrals, and.would like to keep you informed :-)
That helped immensely lol. I was so worked up from the past week that the post yoga feeling is calming.

Wonderful! I love Feldenkrais. :)

Thanks so much for this - I’ve tried to do TRE a few times before but it hasn’t worked and I ended up frustrated - the comment about the head getting in the way was really helpful. I finally shook it off! Good luck on your journey xx
Just WOW...i am so happy and grateful to stumble upon this exercise and most especially you❤..you gave me tears at the end with your kind words..thank you🙏
Thank you. Glad you found it helpful. ❤️
awesome video! best instruction ever. ive researched many vids and this was the perfect intro. i started trembling finally:)
Great!
Awesome! Enjoy!
I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. :( I hope you find the TRE helpful in your grieving. It's a huge loss. Blessings to you.
Is it normal to cry A LOT? I'm done with the video and can't stop this need to cry
Absolutely!! It’s a way to release the energy from your body. As long as you’re feeling safe enough to let go, let it go!
first time trying it and definitely got tremors! not like you though it was more of a shaking in cold type of movement.
BIG HUGS!!! ❤️
Wow your explanations are better than some out there
I'm so glad it's helpful! 🙏🏼
Hi Wendy! As I stated in the video, it's best to skip days, especially in the beginning. Take your time! And congratulations!!
@@tinyyogini Thanks for the reminder, I'll be patient and space my sessions out! 🙏
1st try. I'm not sure yet, but I'll keep at it. I really appreciate your honesty and openness. You have a made a positive impact on my day. Thank you.
Thank you for saying that. Big hugs!!!
Along with other techniques and activities, this has made much difference in my daily life. Thank you so much for explaining it so good.
I'm so glad! You're welcome. 🙏🏼
I think YOU are SO AWESOME! Just genuinely a good person. I LOVE your laugh... you're so authentic:)
Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to me. 🥰
Thanks. I couldn’t tremor with bent knees but when I straightened my legs they made tremors for a long time. I watched another video and it was different but worked too. Thanks ❤
Awesome!!
This is the best video for tre
This is super fascinating. I learned about TRE from TikTok, and I tried it last night. I think it helped a little bit. I'm going to continue.
Woot Woot!!
My website is www.embodyschool.com
You can book directly through the website. 🙏🏼
I love this! I've done this twice now and feel more relaxed after a session than I ever have in my LIFE. I love sitting through the tremors. Do you think it's normal to feel heat or a burning sensation during it?
Thank you for this incredible information! It's hard to find much online 💕
Hi, yes, you can experience different sensations like heat or tingling. I’m so glad you’re benefiting from this practice! 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for this! I had a problem with my left psoas since August last year and I just finished following your guidance in this video. My body shook so hard and I felt so much lighter now. Thank you so much for this video!
I'm wondering whether it's okay for us to stop the shaking even though our body still wants to do it?
Yes, of course! You’re the boss and you have control of where and when to tremor.
Yesteraday I heard about TRE, today found you. My first try and it worked, I couldnt believe it! My body trembled like crazy. I am suffering from pain all over my body for a couple of years.... How many times a week can I train TRE? Thnank you...❤
I explain in the video. Start with 3x a week. 👍🏼
Hi did your head and body shake the first time ?
Vanessa Harling no, just my thighs but it defers from someone to another
Glad I found your video! I’ve been dealing with chronic pain from whiplash, mild scoliosis and CPTSD too. How frequently and for how long did you do TRE before you noticed a reduction in your pain?
Hi! It took about 2 months, practicing every other day.
Thank you I tried it the first time and I was a natural I'm going to keep doing this.
Woot Woot! ☺
Thank you I tried it the first time and I was a natural
Hi, Im quite connected and aware ofnky body as a dancer and mover but I've tried TRE few times, also with you and I didn't notice my body shaking. I wonder what could be the reason? Did otehr peoole experience that?
Check out the q&a video. I address this.
Brilliant ! the first video that shows how to get into the muscle stress state , every other TRE goes straight into the TRE . Oh yeh some great words of wisdom about before ,during and after x
Thank you for your kind words.
It worked. Thanks for sharing.
This was a really good introduction
Great to hear!
Thank you for this video, your explanations are really good! I wonder if you could incorporate breathwork with this
Hi! I talk about proper breath in the video. Full, deep yoga breath throughout the practice. 🙏🏼
This is an informational video, not a treatment. Thanks for watching!
