Started with the Jumper guys did have lots of issues back then. Hopefully they bring a good product for newbies to our hobby. Sticking with radiomaster tx16s. Good review.

Had 2 Jumpers, Externally and functionally very good... First one RF chip (4in1) died, they didn't want to know about it. Second one broke cable on rudder axis.... opened it up and omfg they use hair sized wire internally so no wonder it broke.... followed by the pitch axis a week later and the roll axis a month later.... converted to a boxer and whilst I don't like it for comfortability, it's build quality is solid
Same Story here. Had a Jumper T16 Pro, first day, one switch stopped working. Opened it and nice, all ribbon cables to the switches. Checked all, next flying day scroll wheels stopped working, also ribbon. I never can trust that company, only if they proof something better quality over months...
Boxer looks exceptional inside. Silicone wires, nice board. And stock gimbals feel very good after some use!
@@ethrrr I cna't get the tensions feeling right, also size in my hands for a thumber is a bit big but i'm trying to convert to pinch. Also, I've broken 2 of the sucky aerials lol
Love your videos, keep it up! I just got the T14 and like it so far but do not know where I can find those 2 pos switch to change out the momentary switch on the top. If you could provide al ink, I'd appreciate it.
Try Aliexpress if you can’t find them on the Jumper website.

I wish the boxer max came in a 4in1 or the regular boxer had the cnc gimbal option at the cost for the jumper with the cnc gimbals is a really good deal....I see the new limited edition elrs ranger modules come in different colors it would be awesome to have a red boxer max 4in1 and be able to put a red elrs ranger module on it😁 I don't see the purpose in putting an elrs module on a elrs radio smh come on radiomaster we need a 4in1 boxer max! 😁✌🏼

Hi Stetim wanting to bite the bullet and buy a radio. I'm wanting to get into flying planes but also want to get into fpv. Will this do both or no? I like the sounds of this radio because it sounded powerful.also getting into fpv would you suggest a cheaper all together set up if buy a separate radio like this and a cheaper fpv drone?
You can use this radio for FPV drones, RC Planes and RC Helicopters

I have a 4D - m1 pro drone with two gimbal camera will the boxer or the t14 adapt to my drone so I can fly it I need a replacement remote man caught on fire when I was charging it
You’d really have to be knowledgeable in the RC Hobby to get the Boxer to do what you need it to do. You have to know what receiver is in your drone to begin with, and then see if the Boxer is compatible with it, then you’d have to learn how to use OPEN TX in the radio.

Hi Steve, what's the difference in 2.4 and 915 ELRS
It just depends where you live in the world. If in North America it is pretty much 2.4. Europe and Asia is kinda 915. Simply a different frequency.

It should be noted that the lower the frequency, the longer the wavelength, so the 915 antennas are larger in size. accordingly, the range and penetration of the 915 waves is better. 2.4 frequency is standard for racing. version 915 can usually be flashed to 915 and 868 frequency.
915 for the USA and Western Europe, since mobile communication there is at the frequency of 868. In Eastern Europe, it is the opposite. there are also versions of FCC (ism) without restrictions and LBT that limits the maximum power to 100 milliwatts. Best wishes from Ukraine
the gimbals are not CNC. they are plastic inside...even the radiomaster plastic gimbals looks better by far. and this is the most important in a radio.
There are 2 versions, all plastic or all cnc gimbals

There is no 868mhz version of this radio for europe users?
In all my days of using ELRS, I have never seen the 868 mhz version ever mentioned in North America. Usually it is 915 or 2.4. I did not know 868 still existed.
for example, t20 can be flashed on 915 868 and even 433. I am the owner of t20 and flashed it, there are no problems, and there will be no problems with t14

Yes, of course. You can use any RC programable Transmitter with Helicopters, planes, FPV drones, Cars, trucks, boats, tanks, etc.

I think Jumper T14 is using same gimbals as T20. non CNC ones are with hall sensor, and CNC ones are RDC90. Why are they saying that Jumper T14 has CNC Hall sensor gimbals, I don't know. Why is Jumper so misleading.
When you order you have to pick your GIMBALS.... Do you want CNC or non-CNC?
I prefer the Ethos OS of the Frsky Twin X 14.

Why don't you review FrSky radios?
FrSky was a radio brand I used so very long ago. It is no longer popular in North America as it took much too long to incorporate modern communication systems.
@CAPTAINDRONE798 I'm in Detroit, and FrSky is very popular in the USA and North America. FrSky has been introducing a lot of new transmitters, recievers, and sensors. They have introduced major improvements to their Ethos operating system. I don't know where you are getting your information from, but you seem very biased. FrSky introduced the first twin 2.4 ghz system before Elrs.
@@markbutler7027I have been in the RC hobby since 2013. I began with many FRSKY radios (Tarranis), but then they, along with FUTABA radios and SPEKTRUM radios became a niche product at a higher cost with less options. Thus many in the DRONE & HELICOPTER hobby ceased to use them. RC plane pilots, however, still provided a market for SPEKTRUM, FUTABA, FRSKY. So to sum up, one only needs to go into any hobby store in North America and ask which radio brand sells the most. It is certainly not FRSKY, but as you noted, there is still a market for them, just not as big as it was in the past. I don’t review FRSKY, FUTABA or SPEKTRUM radios (although I do own an Spektrum IX12 and ix14), for the simple reason of cost versus output. For newbies to the hobby I guide them to the lower cost full functionality radios so they can easily use them with whatever in the hobby and find hundreds of helpful videos online.
Since the Original Jumper T16 Crappy Build Quality Fiasco, I will never buy a Jumper Radio. I Chose a much higher Quality Built RadioMaster TX16S. Have never looked back.
Ive got a Boxer but decided to try a T20S because they were cheap and there was a bit of hype around them. Mine had the thread insert detach from the gimbal when I tried to unscrew the stickend. Had to have a replacement gimbal sent out
