Which adventure with Appa was your favorite?!
ALL OF THE WEST!
Your ride in the hail storm was epic!!!!!😂
Every single one! Any time we can ride is a great day.
You made all trips an Adventure!
I give them all a 5 out of 5.
Who’s cutting onions in here? 🥺 but for real, some gorgeous photos from your adventures! I hope your selling process goes smoothly!
Right! I can not believe how emotional I got 😅
I remember watching you get Appa. You have had so many journeys and made so many memories. Sad day to get rid of a bike, but you are going to make more memories on your new one. And someone will make their own memories on Appa.
I cant believe its been nearly 3 years of watching your journeys on Appa, and I pretty much remembered every single clip you just played. Onwards and upwards, yip yip 😌
STAHP. i’m crying again 😭♥️
Awwwwww this was an awesome tribute to Appa!❤😊👍👏🏻
Thank you so much!
No words for this video. Some tears maybe¿ At a loss for words. Thank you for sharing
Great tribute to Appa. Have been watching your channel before you hit him. I totally understand your feeling for him. I love my bike and love to ride it. Someday I will trade for a new one and it will be a bitter sweet day. But you will have new adventures and memories will be created with the 24. Safe travels and I look forward to the videos.
I don’t get attached to machines but motorcycles are so special. She did a great job telling this story. At first I thought this was silly but the pictures and narrative was excellent. Ride safe
I seriously appreciate this comment!
@@HerTwoWheels you’re very talented but you know that…stick with it. If you ever want to discuss weight loss let me know I’ll be releasing a video soon on how it changed my life.
I was excited when you got em and, while sad, I'm happy for you moving into your next adventure.
Thank you!
This tribute was really awesome to see. The bond a rider has with their motorcycle can't really be described, but you can feel that the bike is alive, whether it was alive before it came into your life or only after becoming an extension of the rider, who knows, but it's a real thing that can be felt and this video was an amazing tribute to that. I hope he finds a good home. ❤
Such a great edit, Jess! I felt all the emotion. I'm sure he'll go to a great home and I'm happy for you that you have all the memories and backlog of vids/pics.
Such a cool story that you've had together. Really great work telling it. 👏
Its cool that tou will have these vids to look back on and remember as you move forward in life, and transition from old bike to new bike, old to new, again and again. Dont ever atop making videos of your adventures. You will have them to look back on when youre old. When i was a kid i asked my mom what nostalgia meant. She said its remembering old times. I said, then nostalgia is stupid. Now that I'm old. Noatagia is fking awesome. Keep being blessed Jess. You deserve it
This is by far my favorite video of yours to date and I've watched them all. This is the most beautiful tribute/memorial one could ask for. It's as if you're making a celebration of life video for your best friend who just passed away. So sad, yet just as beautiful as it is sad. I know you're going to have many new memories with the '24, but it's still sad to see Appa go. I remember actually smiling hard and almost cheering for you when I saw the video of you buying Appa. I was so happy you finally got your touring bike. Now he's leaving 😢. I hope whoever buys him will treat him as well as he has treated you.
The tears this brought! Have been following for as long as I can remeber! Cannot believe you have had so many adventures with Appa❤
All I can say I have the 1979 HD low rider wife and I dated on.( Still running) Also still have the 1997 heritage Springer I ride to Sturgis 3 times on ( still running) and now ride a 2018 HD Road Glide Ultra.I just can't part with them too many memories .Married 39 years this may.Same wife,( still running) Ride on Little Sister.
Wishing Appa and you both lots of new adventures!!❤
The folks on here saying “it’s just a machine” really don’t get it! Even though my 22 Road King Special is better in every way than the Fat Boy I previously owned, it was hard to let that Fat Boy go. I had a beer with her the night before they picked her up.
I can't imagine the feelings you must have for letting go of such a valuable character in your story. Great video. It must have been so difficult to make it less than 10hrs long!
New bike, new friend, new adventures. Keep us posted Rider.
WOW!! I can't believe you got oppa in 2021. It literally seems just like yesterday... time flies when you're having fun. Keep u the awesome videos and I'm looking forward to the next 3 years. Your amazing and we all love you so much!! ❤️
I’ve had my 2014 SG for 10 years. Picked him up and have ridden over 100,000 miles. He’s gone through a heart transplant and many other modifications. Many people buy a new bike every year but I could never imagine not riding mine. We’ve had so many adventures and more planned for the future.
😢You made me cry... Very nice video and tribute to Appa..
Me toooo! 😭
I'm glad you can get emotional about your ride. That says a lot. These are our companions through times in life. My Leaf has taken me across 19 states now, and I wouldn't have any other. Until I would.
Amazing and awesome tribute, memoire of and to Appa. Also cool tattoo! I can tell it was hard for you to edit this or even talk about it still.
But yeah with the newer model, this one ain't necessary and is better of with someone who can enjoy it the same way you did.
Did some amazing trips with it and am really happy to have seen some bits of the trips.
You've done a lot of great rides on that bike. You'll always have fond memories. I wish I could ride as much as you. Wishing you all the best.
Sounds like you followed your heart keep moving forward on the great adventures you do. Dont let the anyone drag you down on you selling this great bike keep smiling big as I know you will.
Such an amazing tribute to a wonderful being who is always going to hold a special place in your heart, its like anything that you grow attached to. Heart breaking to see them go but the memories will always stay, think of all the new memories to be had on your new 2024!!
Made me want to cry watching this 🤪
That was a great tribute to a great bike and lady!
Great video thank you just go look at all the new bikes. All you need is a nice day to ride. Thanks again cheers to ya.
Good luck with the sale. I hope your new bike gives you every bit of the pleasure and dependability that opa gave you. It’s been a pleasure watching your channel grow and watching the woman you’ve become since making the decision to quit your job and do what you want to do.
Great video. Very heartfelt.
Awesome video. This is the Her Two wheels we all come to love. Great story
Enjoyed the recap video’s, heck, even made me shed a tear or two. Hopefully he sells quickly and continues to lead his new owner on more adventures.
Hope so! ♥️
Congratulations I’m gonna miss seeing this bike on the channel ride safe and and enjoy
What a beautiful tribute to your good boy...😢❤
Surely not easy to part. Let's hope Appa gets into good hands and serves a rider that loves the bike as much as you did...or even more. 🙏🏼❤️
I can relate to the emotional attachment to a vehile, especially those who have taken you on so many adventures. Enjoy those memories and know more are ahead. Now you meed to head to eastern PA for some adventures.
Wow!!! I understand how you feel. All the places, all the sights, all the people you met, all the roads, the tattoo and all those memories!! I had a Road Star that I totalled in 2016 and couldn't bear to part with so I had her rebuilt, but couldn't get a new title, so earlier this month I gave her to a young man who had been riding a 1980s Gold Wing but it got to a point he couldn't fix the bike and he was willing to fix the Road Star and get her on the road.
I sold my first bike 8 years ago and regretted it every day after I did, a year ago I bought her back... very happy I did.
Hope you have that opportunity in the future.
Hope you find a new owner that loves him as much as you do. A little out of my range. Hope the bike brings you as much joy. Give Appa a big hug from all of us before he leaves.
I am watching from Australia and I remember you giving up your job to do this full time and the apprehension that came with it and vlogging on your dyna. Then Appa arrived and really gave you the opportunity to travel and this convinced me to try a Road Glide which I now have. I had my first Harley for 17 years and traded it in and to see it advertised on the website was gut wrenching as we had travelled Australia together. Safe travel with the new 2024 and so looking forward to again watching you reach the horizon every time you go out for a ride. 😌
Wow!!!!
Looks like some wonderful times.
I would love to ride with you all sometime.
Wish I could afford to get APPA from you. It looks like a very comfortable bike to ride.
Congrats on making a decision, even though it hurts. You might get that price for its notoriety, but otherwise overpriced. Appa will find a good home.
Not gona Lie this one brought a tear to my eye. Hard to believe you are saying good bye to him. My favorite adventure was when I meet you and Stacie in Sturgis and later saw you on my way home. You ran into hail and my buddy and I just managed to stay ahead of through Bear Tooth pass in Montana we were headed south and you were headed north. Enjoy the new ride.
Choked me up a little in the beginning! The memories we make on our bikes just make them part of us and our lives. They’re so hard to part with sometimes.
I definitely cried editing this 😂
Man, I had so much fun watching you and Appa on all of your adventures. My fave has to be when you pulled into Uranus! Too funny! Keep up your content, you keep inspiring me to get out there. ❤❤
I admire the way you can get your audience into the same emotional state as you are. Great job on your videos
i wish i could add him to my family of bikes just cant afford right now i wish him the best on his adventures he will be missed
Great video jess thanks I hope the selling process goes good
Emotional but your laughter even in a hail storm brought me back.
Great video I felt the same way when I sold my ‘92 Heritage it was a head turner…..it was turquoise and white.
Positively loved this. Laughed with you, cried with you.😢😂 So much to love.❤
WOW JESS !!!! that's was kinda sad, The ink was a super nice touch
Wow ! Well done Jess, what a tribute Appa😢.
Thank you!
Owned a 2005 Electra Glide Ultra, did 75,000 miles on it before trading for my current bike. Saw both coasts and a lot in between. There are times I miss that bike, but I have some great memories. I love my current bagger, and I dont regret the sale. It'll become easier to think about as time moves on.
Great story and love the tat design.
I wish I had Appa cash! I watched when his stickers were first put on. I think I remember you talked about just having bought him. ❤
I know this is the right decision for you, but I know your heart will break a little.
I hope whoever buys him keeps us all posted. Appa has fans!
Counter offer: $15k and I get a Appa tattoo AND a HTW tattoo! ;) Seriously though, it seems like the $23k asking price could be construed as a bit high (you can get 2019-2021 RG Specials with fewer miles for less even in Ohio). However, since Appa is reasonably famous, it could be a fair price. Unfortunately, it's out of my price range, or I'd jump on it. Best of luck in your sale!
Riding my motorcycle has been my primary mode of transportation, granting me a sense of independence.
...loved my '95 BMW Paris/Dakar, loved my Harley Deuce that was customized and I had for 17 years, and loved my 2009 Harley Street Glide that we took cross country to North Carolina and the Tail of the Dragon, plus up to Montana's Bear Tooth Pass and Yellowstone. When it's time to move on, you just know. I still have three Harleys, but the '80 Shovelhead is the only one I would never let go of, because it is promised to someone. My current Road King is great, but... Good channel, btw. Wayne out West (Colorado)
Wow girl
You got me crying. The adventures. 😢
We all be bawling 😅
You can tell people your bike rides great in the rain, I don’t wear a helmet but I have one that I take on roadtrips in case I get caught in a hailstorm my XLH 1200 is 24 years old it runs great and I’m content with her I don’t even want to test ride a new bike I can’t afford one and I wouldn’t want to then get back on my bike and feel like I’m missing out, I do enjoy your channel and your videos
Well done Jess, he will go to a loving home im sure.
Congratulations on reaching a new stage in your moto journey, I am sure there will be equally wonderful new memories on the new bike or relived memories of the past. Wish I could afford Appa myself, but I am pretty sure the new owner will honor Appa's legacy that was establised with you.
I feel your pain. I have a BMW K75S that I have owned for over 30 years and just don’t ride her as much. Don’t know if I could ever sell her but the time will come I’m sure. Go create some new memories with your new bike.
Wow! That's a great price!
Great video Jess. Have seen every video of Appa and you!!!! Gonna miss him!!! Wish I had the money to buy him!!! I know he will go to someone who will appreciate him as much as you do. Had a few tears watching this too. I got a tattoo of my 2013 Street Glide a few years ago, so I’ll always have the Purple People Eater with me too!!! Ride safe Jess!!!! Oh, one last Yip,Yip, Yip!!!! 😃😃😃😃😃
I love Appa, wish I could take him. We will miss you buddy. I like how you reminded us of how famous he is and like you hope to see more of his adventures. Kids grow up and move out, now its time to embrace the new chapter with __________. (can't say Appa 2.0) Will be anxiously awaiting your name announcement and your next adventures. 😘
You're going to miss him, but not too much because you have a new motorcycle to ride. Cool!!!! Stay safe out there.
Guys watch till the very end! There are a bunch of amazing pictures closing out the video...👍👏🏻😊
🥰🥰🥰
Recently sold my First Harley I've ever owned. A 2001 Ultra I got in 2019 it was bitter sweet for sure! But now I have a 2021 Road Glide Special and I can't wait for all the new adventures I'm gonna have.
Great video..I am like you getting ready to sell my 2016 Road Glide Special to get the 2024 Road Glide..Good luck with your new bike and I am sure you will be making so many new memories with it..Stay safe!
Looks great
Never expected that!!
Excellent video! Glide Life 4 ever!
Great video!! I was wondering is the ride and waght of the new bike just from 24- and up?
I lost 2 bikes in consecutive years. I hit a deer and my 2012 SG was totaled. I purchased a 2022 RG 2 weeks later and took that bike to my first ever trip to the Sturgis rally. 8 months later I lost that one in a barn fire. It sucks, but there is always another one around the corner. Just got a 2023 RG and did a better build and its fantastic. Congrats on the new bike.
Looks like you are back in Ohio. Was really hoping to run into you/meet you at one of the Central Florida events. I’m sure Appa will continue being enjoyed by the next owner. Good luck with/ Appa 2.0
It can be bittersweet when you sell a motorcycle, to some people they are simply machines that you buy and sell and to some of us they are life changing modes of transportation. I have ridden my 1977 Shovelhead up and down the east coast and from North Carolina out to west Texas and all over Texas. With my 1998 FLHTP "Cloud" (white with a police air ride seat) I rode from Texas to Maine, several times to the east coast, Nebraska, Wyoming, Tennesse, Georgia and all parts between but recently sold her to a Lady who will be taking it to The Netherlands so Clouds will see Europe.
Congrats on your first Iron Butt!! PS all my bikes have been guys. Currently riding Wolfgang Von Geil who is a BMW R18B Galaxy Dust color. The prettiest color EVER! 🥂⭐
Tear jerker. That bike is part of you. I do believe they have a soul of some sort. Spend lots of time on a bike and it's a relationship of sort. It's there to protect and get you through good and tough times and it takes you to some awesome places. Many good memories. I hope the new bike gives you amazing memories. I sold I bike that met so much to me. I think about that bike alot and regret it. I plan trying build one like her. The current bike is a sweetheart and I won't get rid of this bike. Even I'm getting a newer bike next year. Ride safe sister.
For me everyone of them! The journey you had with Appa was awesome!!! Me Appa new journey will be great with either new owner! No your new journey has begun!!!! a thank you Jess for these amazing journeys ! I feel so 😇to join you !!!!
I hope so!
@@HerTwoWheels I believe he will! I am stoked
For the new journey and the name?
Price is a lil bit tasty. The new owner can't be expected to pay a premium for your emotional attachment. Just because you think it's a 'famous' bike doesn't increase it's value. The additions are personal preference and don't necessarily add value either. Similar bikes (many with lower miles) available everywhere for sub $20k. PS ... I love your channel so nothing personal, just sayin it as it is 👍
Yeah he’s not priced to “sell”. He’s priced to sell to the right person. Just like any sale, it’s a set price OBO. I’m not trying to make a buck. And by pricing him at a premium, I am avoiding all the unnecessary low ball offers. I do not NEED to sell this bike. I want the right person to want him.
Broke my heart to get rid of my ultra. But it was time. Loving the street Glide. 😊
So sad.... 😢
Bye bye Appa ! I'll miss you ! 🥺
Cheers Jess !
$23k for this beautiful, well taken care of, upgraded and well documented of where he's been bike, is NOT BAD at all! I'm sure he's going to go to a great home ❤
Dude, you made me want to cry!
🥹
Dang im knew here and JUST commented how cool Appa was. I feel bad for rubbing it in.
The tattoo came out great though! And youll always have the memories.
If only I could ride 2 wheels. But, I love my trike so... I totally understand falling for the new bike. It's Appa but better in just about every way. Harley got smart and actually paid attention to their customers. Can't wait to "meet" the new bike (looking forward to the name!) And yes, you made me cry.
🥹🥹🥹
This is an awesome tribute to Appa! Not gonna lie but it kinda choked me up a little.
🥹
Face it. The sentimental factor wore off and you had a chance to go for the bells and whistles and a new bike that you wont have to worry about. That is why many of us change vehicles. New is fun.
I am still VERY sentimental 😂
North Carolina has awful rough roads as well
Some Big time Props For Doing Most of the Road Trips by yourself..👍
I thought for sure you would replace Appa with a Lowrider ST. Nice surprise. I can't wait to see some content with the new ride.
Check out my recent videos! 😅
Cool vid..shout out from west monroe la.. I got alot on inspiration from you and blockhead long ago that you wouldn't even ever understand.
Appreciate that!
Jess I'm going to be taking the msf class on May 13 through 17 from 8:00 am till 12:00 noon.
Woohoo!!
I can't believe it has already been 3 years.
Have road the Tail before o my old bike, just got me a 2023 Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse-the tail is on my list soon
Don’t ever get rid of Knox…..Dyna is the best…. ❤❤❤
I personally keep my bikes long term, and I don't understand the need to keep changing then for new models, but I guess when I list them out, I have had a few bikes too, over 44 years of road riding (not counting dirt bikes as a teenager), my bikes:
Bikes I have sold, due upgrades or speeding problems:
1 - Kawasaki 1980 Z250, kept it for 3 years, then upgraded, 1980 to 1983.
2 - Yamaha 1983 ZX550, kept it for 10 years, 1984 to 1994.
3 - Moto Guzzi Mark V Lemans 1000, 1989, kept for 1 year, sold because I was speeding too much, it is one bike I wish I had kept.
Bikes I still have:
1 - Harley Davidson 1988 Lowrider, hotted up and with a sidecar, had since 1989, 35 years.
2 - Yamaha 1974 DT400 trail bike stripped for vintage motocross, has since 1990, 34 years.
3 - Honda 1971 CB500, stripped for classic track racing and bored out to a 600. Had since 2004, 20 years.
4 - Harley Davidson 2022 Pan America Special Enthusiast Collection, the beautiful army green version, had since March 2023, so just one year.
