Two years ago my life fell apart, I started drinking again, my wife left and took my son with her. I’ve been an alcoholic since I was fifteen years old and it’s hard every day not to take a drink, but your content keeps me entertained and my mind off of things when shit gets rough. I was worried writing this comment people would think I’m after sympathy or a pat on the back but really I just want you to know that what you’re doing may seem small but it matters. These distractions you have been providing recently have helped so much. Two weeks ago I started AA and this weekend I get my boy for an unsupervised visit for the first time in 18 months, which will one day lead to weekend sleepovers, so from the bottom of my heart. Thank you ❤️

3 years ago my girlfriend cheated on me with 3 other guys I tried killing my self i turned to drugs I overdosed and I was in and out of jail then in late 2017 I met a wonderful woman named gracelyn we dated for 6months and then she was murdered by staff in a group home yes she cheated on me but i stupidly took her back 2 times and people might think that I'm trying to get a pat on the back but I'm not and I'm not trying to make people feel bad for me at all I just want people to know my story I still think about gracelyn but I know if she was still here she would understand the pain I have endured bc of her and that I forgive her.I know what dax is talking about is painful but that pain will make you stronger in the end and the pain will heal not 100 percent but the pain will heal over time

I was in a similar situation when I was young. Just kept going back. It took awhile for me to break that hold. Depression turn to anger, anger turned into motivation. Funny thing is me and her now are actually really good friends. I'm not gonna lie though at first it was great to see her life fall into shambles but as I matured I extended a helping hand and now 10 years later we are close friends
