Stunning! Thankyou for this tutorial! I grew a Blue Icelandic poppy in my garden. I could hardly believe it's beauty. I believe it had 6 petals.

CAKELOSOPHY Thank you so much!!! I very much appreciate your help to get me started! I will look for the product you mentioned and try that first. I will let you know how it goes!😊 I have been watching your videos for a long time now and they have helped me with my sugar crafting a great deal. Your veining video was helpful when I was deciding which ones to purchase.

Great tutorial. Seeking perfection in a flower ? Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. What I might think is perfect might not be what someone else thinks. So no , I don't like wasting time trying to perfect a flower. Perfect a technique ? Yes. Every flower is different.
I add cornstarch to my coloured powders to soften them out. Have you ever added it to your colours ? I like to pass my petal in the coloured corn starch, then vein it . I quickly flip or shape then attach. This works wonders for me. The gumpaste dries almost immediately, it's incredible. Just a thought....you might already do this 💐

Sounds terrific. I'll place a tablespoon of cornstarch on my work station, divide in three and add varying amounts of coloured dust to get different depths of colour, then dust the gumpaste. You can go from dark to light, once done , past a paint brush over it and dust off ....thanks for your feedback. 💐
