Yes! Big Hit made sure they brought in their stage team and gear for this performance because it was their first official performance of this song. To my knowledge, there has never been a stage like this in any talk shows for any artists in the past. This was a full set design and performance. It was AWESOME! Not sure if you noticed or not, but their beginning and ending poses are the same. Plus in the beginning they did hand movements to sounds of the chords starting with Jimin and at the end they reversed it and ended the hand movements with Jimin. It's an amazing performance and choreo!

Awesome! I knew you would love this! This is also Jimin's(my bias!!) area since he studied contemporary but the rest of them were able to pull it off really well! Also Kookie is in a see through shirt!!! Also if you look closely when JHope is next to Tae and Yoongi, as they go to get back up after they do that kick move, Tae by accident kicks Jhope in the side of the head sorta hard(thats what he said in Tae's Vlive) but Jhope is so good that he just brushed it off and continues to dance like it didn't even happen! 💜💜💜💜💜
So glad to see dancers watching and reacting to this performance. It's hands down one of the best performances I've seen by any band, and I expect it to be topped only by BTS. They are true artists. I'm ashamed I dismissed them as teeny-bopper boy band members and didn't watch any performances until 2021.

Love the choreo part at 2.35 to 3.00, 3.08 to 3.12 leg swing choreo, 3.34 to 3.43, 3.52 to 4.01, 4.18 till the end is so musical performance vibe 👍all these my favourite part. I love all black swan choreo bcs from 1 part to another, the transition is smooth, the choreo is getting even better from time to time, even they dance same routine but the arrangement of choreo make it blend so well into the song. The mood n energetic choreo is consistently good from the start till the end. Their dance moves keeps our attention focus to their performance, thats what successful performance all abt. Hi, you did realise that they were dancing barefoot and my feet hurts when i normally walk bearfoot. However BTS was dancing 😱 bearfoot. That is NOT easy and yet they again deliver us one of the most beautiful performance ever happened in this planet. Love BTS.I Purple you.💜💜💜

As far as Kpop they are the first to dance barefoot on american talk show and it’s the first time performing “Black Swan” with the choreography. I don’t know anyone else but it gives me fake love & blood sweat tears vibes. This is their third time being on his show, their debut appearance/performance was “DNA” on top of playing Flinch game and the second time appearance/performance “Fake Love”. Our guys came out like seven swan bosses taking everyone’s wigs but also made everybody worry about JHope during the performance b/c he was accidentally kicked on the top of the ear & head by Yoongi & Taehyung but he didn’t break focus from dancing and they felt really apologetic towards him afterwards. Luckily, he is okay 👌 Tae did a vlive chat with JHope & RM right after they gotten back to the hotel. The Hide & Seek game they played was hilariously adorable which I felt so bad for jimin, jin and JK for being man handled by Ashton Kutcher but James walked all the way back to set holding Suga & Taehyung hand. *Regarding the Grammys, BTS became the first ever SOUTH KOREAN KPOP GROUP to perform on the grammys stage because the collaboration they did with Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus and Mason Ramsey performing “Old Town Road”. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME AMERICAN STAGES THAT DONE SETUPS LIKE THIS AND OTHERS HAVENT BUT FOR THIS PARTICULAR STAGE IT IS THE FIRST TIME ON A AMERICAN TALK SHOW.

Still remember Jhppe said during his award acceptance speech that BTS practiced hard and clenched their hearts before going up on stage to give the best performance. Black swan is actually an easy dance I already learned since they had performed that song but what is hard about the dance is that you have to look good.
