I feel like Atlus could have done better with these DLC fights. The fact that its 4v1 (unless you decide to go solo) makes it unfair for these opponents, it's simply too easy and it shouldn't be.
It would've been more interesting if instead they'd let you fight not just Door-kun and Chad, but rather them and their allies. How awesome would it be to fight against Door, Yukari, Aigis and Mitsuru? Or Yu, Yukiko, Kanji and Teddie for instance?
The challenge would be even greater if you give each of them some really powerful ability, like say for instance, Mitsuru has the same ability that Harus Third Tier Persona learns and Kanji can charge up the entire party. And give them BATON PASS to further increase the difficulty and let them each have access to their respective Navigators! (Partly because I'd really like to see Rise again...)
I feel like optional Persona fights should be as tough and unforgiving as Elizabeth in P3 was...that's really something that went missing with the previous entries and I hope that P6 takes a lesson from that.

Hard agree, I would've loved to see a full 4 v 4 fight but I understand why Atlus didn't (after all, which 3 characters do they choose?) but I at least think they should've made the fights against Yu and Makoto way harder, like give them multiple moves on their turns at least 😔
I like your idea. For the party members, I’d say they’d have to go with the first 3. So Minato, Yukari, Junpei, Akihiko and then Yu, Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko. That would be a pretty awesome fight
@@alexsolano27 Or, how about characters that were plot relevant ? Like with P3, Minato is paired with Aigis, Ryoji and Metis, while Yu is with Marie, Adachi, and Teddy. I mean they all have a relation with the Velvet room in one way ore another, so it could be possible.

Cool battles but for Yu and Minato you have to use one specific strategy, especially since Minato has endure. They don't give you much room for creativity...and the rewards are ok but I was expecting better.

Given how cognitive beings are just as capable of combat as Shadows depending on the individual that influences them it's not too farfetched to think that it's possible. For all intents and purposes, this is as close to fighting them without actually fighting them as Joker can get. It would also explain why we're not fighting them at the peak of their powers from their adventures since only the "real MCs" would truly know how to call upon their greatest strengths and not their cognitive replicas, although you could argue that these cognitive versions are somewhat close to the real MCs's maximum potential so they're still fairly strong compared to the other enemies you can encounter throughout the game.

Yu and Co saved humanity as well, just in a more round about way. Izanami was going to grant 'Humanities wish' from Adachis viewpoint, and grant everyone either oblivion or an illusory life as a shadow self. Humanity might not 'die' in a sense, but we'd be lost all the same.
Persona 3 was fighting against mankinds despair and losing the will to survive.
Persona 4 was fighting against the willingness to embrace lies, rather than reach out for the truth.
And Persona 5 is largely a struggle between the contrasting values of freedom and security.
Between Yu and Makoto, this one’s definitely the easier of the two on Level 99.
Only thing I did differently was instead of run Mona and Violet, I ran Haru with a God’s Hand accessory and Crow (Ingenious Spirit). Shock Technicals also make this a breeze.
Im prettu sure yu is the harder one, with brainjack and and the heavier hitting almighty attack
@@mizzix I luckily never put up with Yu's heavy hitting moves (I just recently learned he has *Hassou Tobi* along with Myriad Truths).
I found Makoto hard mainly because I was trying to meet all the Challenge Battle score requirements. His affinities made that tougher.
