The ending scene depicts that the world is actually a simulation and he got some misplaced tech in his hands. The gods/real non-simulated found out and eliminated him. It's quite deep and interesting actually.
That doesn't exactly seem like it. My interpretation was that just like he had manipulated the world with his cursor. Someone else did the same to him.

No, it wouldn't hurt the plot, it could be amazing; they could then deal with what the co-worker experienced whilst 'cut'. That in itself could be taken in mad directions; how about he gets transported to a pocket dimension - The Clipboard? And what if the CTRL-Z completely reversed the previous action and its immediate consequences, so the guy came back in one piece, no harm done to him, the severed arm and blood disappeared, and the people were left going "WTF?!" as a result...? Best prank system ever! But the co-worker eventually starts having an existential crisis over being an object to be manipulated. The whole thing could even be carried on past the ending if whoever was controlling the god-cursor had a change of heart and undid splattering the guy. The possibilities really are immense... 😃

I was just thinking about how powerful the copy and paste ability would be, as you could just copy anything you can think of and become a hero that enriches the world. The inspect key when you right click on things would have been a nice comedic element in the plot as well.

ok, imma telling you why a scaled-down car should be way stronger than a normal sized car. the reason is because of the square-cube law. mass is increased by cube. so all 3 dimensions. strength is scaled by square. so 2 dimensions. that's why its harder to break a bone longways vs horizontally. so basically, if you scaled up a chicken bone by 100 times. eventually, it would be cracked under its own weight. and if you scaled it down it would be way stronger relative to its size.
OK but how does it work in a computer? I'm pretty sure when you increase somethings size, it fills in the gaps, giving it the same density, right?

Then, you would have to delete the whole bank after leaving because security cam footage is often saved to computers.
You would have to do this at night because people walking around in the day would suspect you had something to do with an entire building suddenly disappearing in chunks. In that situation, you would have to delete a loooooot of people to erase every witness.
