@@Matins1200 NICE!!! been carrying it all day & surprisingly I'm already accustomed to the weight on my belt. I thought it'd be cumbersome but it's the same heft as leatherman. Wicked sharp! I love it. 🍻
Gotta be honest. I didn't know who that was and had to look it up. lol but after searching, I did see photos of them wearing it on set. Pretty cool! The man who taught me how to fish carried one. Not blood related & 45 years my senior. But definitely a soul brother from another life. He's gone now. But I'm looking forward to returning the favor in the next.
@@ethanbox2010 & I didn't forget about ya! I'm itching to do that tomahawk handle. See if I can mention you in it or something. But I'm still new to TH-cam. I may have changed my mind about the wood type though. Still goin fancy with it. But it needs to hold up.
@FluteTooth That's OK. It's good to see it's become a bit of a passion project. Those are always more fun. Go where the project takes you, and give an update when you have time. No pressure. Happy New Year.
That's outstanding. You think my 2024 model stands up the ones cranked out in the 80's? I suppose I'm asking, if you have kept an eye on their quality and noticed any significant peaks and valleys? I'm green to Buck - so this 110 feels better than I expected. Im pleased with it but still curious.
Congrats I have several versions of the 110 and 112 A 112 was my work EDC for over 30 years Treat yourself to a 112 next Very similar but a bit smaller and lighter
@@MAC-gx3ji I’m considering it ! But if I do, it’ll be one of those fancy ones. Micarta scales, aluminum frame, S30v. 😁 I’m not quite a fanboy yet. So I just want to see how the quality is between the new and old material types.
I agree. But I feel the price is inflated. At least for now. They've gone up 35% in 6 years, from what I gather. So for those of us who are late to the game (BUCK) it's plain and simple - unfair! 😂 I honestly always told myself that if I got a buck it would be a 112. But this purchase was a sincere accident. That or my wife is fu(king with me. I was eyeballin the S30v with micarta scales.
I totally agree. But for the last year and a half Ive been wearing suspenders. I'm sold on a particular style and don't notice a damn thing anymore. 😂 But before that, my leatherman free p4 was annoying to me. The Swiss Soldier is my limit for solo belt knife. Too much = Belt too tight = dexterity inhibitor. I don't like that.
I bought a 110 today as well! I’ve wanted one since I was a kid and finally just treated myself to one.

I bought my 110 in 1982 and it’s never failed me
Nice one! Bo and Luke Duke always had these on their belts on the show, loved em ever since

Been carrying one for about 15 years. Don't worry. You won't regret it.

Sweeeeeeet! Dude, I just hit 250 subs, thank you !
250. That's halfway to a TH-cam - Side project. I'll invest a little more time into these videos. 🤙

Nice, I have a 112 and its a great knife. I'd really like to get the auto version, but they are a little expensive.

I carry a buck 112, the 110 is a bit too heavy on the belt for me
